Wednesday!

It's my first weekly appointment, I'll be 36 weeks exactly. We're doing a quick growth scan too because my last fundal height measurement was a bit small and I lost a pound. BUT baby is still generally a wiggly thing so we're not too concerned - just going to peek in on little dude. Should be quick!

Regular OB appointment today, she might do my GBS swab, if not then definitely next week. Otherwise it's a normal appointment. I'll also be pre-registering over the phone later today! Im able to just do a phone call since I delivered my son here last time, so yay!

I'll see my MFM Wednesday for my weekly growth scan/BPP and to go over my blood sugars. They've been a little wonky this weekend, so I'm interested to hear his thoughts.

33 Wks this Wednesday and second growth scan. Excited to see how much more she has grown since 28 weeks when she was 3 pounds.

no dr appt, but we have our breastfeeding class and our final childbirth class! It will be a busy, but hopefully informative week!

So OB this morning said I'm half a cm dilated and 50% effaced, so not much going on yet lol. She also did my GBS today, so hopefully next week I get negative results! I'm allergic to penicillin so they'd have to do a different antibiotic if I'm positive, so I'm hoping for negative!

@CecilB93 Hoping for a negative also - I should have my result on Wednesday.

I'm surprised how many ladies are already dilated or effaced But I suppose that since it's mostly happening in STM+ that your bodies simply said "I know what's going to happen next, might as well get going"

I have an appointment Friday - 37 week appointment. I’m just waiting to hear back for my gbs swab. I’d also love to know if I’ve dilated at all, but I don’t think they will check yet. I have no issues, so I’m not going to ask. I’m not trying to rush this baby along... but I still want to know everything lol.

Appt friday where I'm sure they'll ask if I want to be checked for dilation. After my first two I'm going to pass because the numbers never meant anything in the end for me. So I'm not going to even get my hopes up haha. Just a normal weekly appt (I'll be 37w2d)

37 weekly & NST today. Nothing exciting, other than I told her about my mucus plug. She did not check my cervix, thank GAWD. It never hurt with DD, and last week it was so bad I cried out. I was 1cm last week, so things are progressing! 

Two more weeks max 

@echo-charlietango I've lost about two pounds since my weigh-in last week. I started the 9th-month chapter in my WTE book last night and there's actually a blurb on it. Weight loss isn't terribly uncommon at this point because of less water retention and probably some other things I've forgotten about, but mostly water retention.

37 week appointment tomorrow! Should hopefully be easy peasy, just a check of doppler, weight and blood pressure, since we did my 36 week ultrasound last week and baby was head down and a good size, good fluid, etc. Gonna also be getting my GBS results and maaaaybe opting for a cervical check? Haven't decided yet. She checked last week because she was down there anyway doing the GBS swab and asked if I wanted to know and I was just a fingertip dilated. I think I'll probably wait until 38 or 39 weeks for her to check again. Hope everyone has good appointments this week!

@hoosiermama-2 Two weeks max is crazy, but I'm not far behind! Can't believe we're so close to the finish line!

2nd Growth Scan done! Baby measuring 4 pds 8 ounces at 33 wks. Of course we know that is not always accurate. Still head down but sunny side up. Said I may have one more scan depending on my BP so we shall see. Now off to my doc in an hour to get a note to put some restrictions at work.

Overall good appointment! I'm 36 weeks and they're estimating he's about 6lbs 2oz based on my growth scan, so right on track really! My blood sugars have been wonky this last week so he dropped me back down 2 units to see if that fixes things, otherwise he said we may deliver earlier as it could be a sign of the placenta not working properly anymore, but he said we'll assess that next week after we see how changing insulin affects things.

Boop - forgot to update about my 36 week appointment a few days ago

Kiddo's growth has slowed a little bit; instead of 30th percentile, he's in the 20th percentile now. Everything still looks good though. He's moving plenty, he's proportional, fluids and placenta still look good. He is certainly dropping though! It's nice being able to breathe again, but the reflux is still there. Right now my cervix is still thick and closed, so that's nice. I'm waiting for 38 weeks to start eating dates, but still planning on scheduling a due date induction. FX!

36 week appt went well. On track for fundal height, did strep b swab. She said the baby has dropped but was only dialated .5 and she could feel the head. They did an ultrasound to check my amniotic fluid level because I have been having some odd gushes lately and I took a fall last week but everything looked normal.
