I get pregnancy gingivitis. My gums have been super sensitive and my teeth feeling loose for weeks. Thankfully, I know it goes away once baby is born. But, I've got a good sized gap between two of my molars and food gets stuck in there all the time. Normally, it doesn't bother me at all, but I just can't stand it right now.

Ugh I actually got an aura this morning which led to a migraine, so I guess I won’t be having a migraine-free pregnancy. The good news is that 2 Tylenol seems to be doing the trick. Fingers crossed.
Is laziness a symptom of pregnancy? I woke up with a headache and that horrible painful kink in my neck. Got the headache down with tylenol but now I just want to nap.
@anonellis Because of the way two of my teeth grew in, the root is a little exposed and I have sensitivity to cold and sweet, it's awful when I get chocolate or something against it. For me it's not pregnancy related though, and I need to get a gum graft but who has the time for that? It's not a dire issue, just uncomfortable so I keep putting it off.
I think I will be sleep walking before this baby arrives. I am not a regular dreamer outside of pregnancy, but I have been dreaming so much. Last night was the first time one actually got me out of the bed though. I was dreaming that I was wrangling our children's choir kids at church to get on stage, and I got myself out of bed, took several steps like I was herding them, and pretty sure I spoke out loud. My eyes were open and when it hit me I was in our room, I got back in bed. Make me nervous lol.
@GeorgiaGirl1230 I lol'd at the fact that I read wrangling as strangling. I was gonna say I have vivid dreams but my brain is pretty unreliable... hence me imagining you were calmly talking about strangling choir kids... shit

I'm so spoiled - my best friend is an amazing massage therapist and I'm so excited for her to do body work on me throughout my pregnancy. I usually book an appointment with her ~2-3 weeks. I think I'm addicted (and can you tell that we're DINKs?) She's so tuned in and it seems to be even more awesome to have someone who knows you so well! I hope you all get to have some time to enjoy a massage, too.
@eatinwatermelonseeds@expandcontract yes! Dual income no kids. And I thought it was funny when you said young kids slang, @eatinwatermelonseeds! I know there are other AMAs here, but sometimes I feel so much older, so it's more like outdated old Gen X/cusp of millennials slang that no one knows any more 🤣🤣. It's like asking people if they still listen to books on tape (which I totally sometimes still do) and they look at you like you have 2 heads cause they never used cassette tapes.
@knarlytaurus after I said that I actually saw a different thread where you said you are 37 and felt stupid 😂 I'm not AMA but I feel SO behind the times so much of the time that I just assumed this was one of those times 😂
@knarlytaurus haha I'm not sure why I know what it is but I'm 29 and familiar with the term DINK. Maybe it's living where I do? I haven't seen a stat on it in a while but I'd read an article at least 5 years ago that the Bay Area has the highest average age for women to get pregnant with their first child. Lots of DINKs here. I was the youngest one in my hospital moms group as far as I know and I was 28!!!
The next person who tells me that the second trimester is "soooooo much better" is getting a floral pillowcase of red bricks to the head.
I only throw up about once a week now rather than twice a day, which is nice. And sometimes I have 4-5 hour timespans where I have "normal" energy levels.
Other than that I'm still exhausted all the time though. Food aversions are real; I can eat more but I'm turned off by anything if I think about it too long. And the round ligament pain wakes me up at night. Right now I'm laid out on the couch after sleeping 12 hours, ready to sleep some more. And if my husband makes a pack of oatmeal in the morning before he leaves for work, the whole house REEKS of maple syrup all day long.
Oh, right, my sex DRIVE is back in spades but I'm too tired and achy to act on it.
@missmcgonnagal I never realized we have the same EDD. I consider 14 weeks the beginning of second tri for my own purposes because with DD that's when the morning sickness subsided (I've never thrown up though so I feel for you). I'd say I feel "better" but it's not gone like it was with DD at this point which is a serious wtf?! I had dating scans with both pregnancies but my morning sickness started 3 days later this time so maybe it will go away soon. But I swear...the second trimester is magical lol.
OMG @mrskoz428@expandcontract I don't think the pepperonis ever go down. I had my daughter 4 years ago. Before her My boobs were so cute, I had them pierced and everything. OMG had her and my nipples got huge. I HATE my boobs now. They never went back down. Now im ready be 29 and these big things have a nerve to be getting dark with this pregnancy. A blind man could see them and the actual nipple will poke his eyes out YUCK!!! Its like my kids just don't want me to be sexy anymore.
