What size is a mature follicle?

What size is a mature follicle before retrieval? Thanks.

My clinic said 16+ was a good indicator that they were mature, but lower numbers can certainly be mature as well!

As a reference prior to my retrieval I had:

16 follicles in the 12-15 size range (was told to expect about 50% of those to be mature)
6 follicles in the 16-20 range
4 follicles in the >20 size range

I ended up with 16 eggs retrieved, all of which were mature.

Thank you. The ones on thursday 4 was 14 mm and one was 12 mm.

That sounds good! I had asked for mine and they told me that they keep growing too after your last stim up until retrieval

Thank you. We did last stim Friday night after having u/s Thursday.. had shots to do that night and friday and tonight we did trigger shot and monday morning is retrieval
