This is Lucy, aka the shameless bed hog. As you can tell, she's a big fan of my Boppy pregnancy pillow.
Lucy has a lot of quirks, but one of the funniest is her habit before we go on a walk. Whenever we grab her harness, even if she's standing right next to us, she has to quickly walk a full loop of our first floor so that she ends up walking down the entry hallway straight towards the first floor. Only then will she let us put her harness on. We call it her "launch pattern."
It won't let me attach any pictures or like anything. We have 2 yellow labs, Oakley who is 12 and Ava Lynn who is about to be 2. They are crazy. Oakley is a rescue and he has horrible separation anxiety, which has been considerably better since we got Ava. They're sweet and we wouldn't trade them for anything!

@galactickates she has such an expressive face! I feel like I make that look when I'm contemplating getting up for work in the morning "how much do I really need this job?"
I'll stick with the sleeping dog theme. Porter also enjoys my giant pregnancy pillow and when I get out of bed in the morning, he moves up into my spot and stays there until DH gets up.
This is my cuddle bug, Dexter, cozying up to the bump when it was considerably smaller. His fun quirk is that if DH gets out of bed, no matter the hour, this pooch will immediately claim my husband's vacant spot and cuddle up against me.
And this is DH's dog, Indy, from before DH and I met. He no longer belongs to DH, though; if DH and I enter a room at the same time, this sweetheart beelines to me for all the snuggles. He's now nearly 14 years old, but he goes into these super happy bursts where he hops back and forth like an excited puppy for no reason at all.
Not the best photo, but here’s Charlie living his best life in a mud puddle. His funny quirk is that he has a stuffed hedgehog toy that he LOVES. He had one that lasted for over a year and half before meeting an untimely death. We got him a replacement, and he was so so so happy. He snuggles with “Hedgie.”

This is my two kitties fighting as always (plz ignore the condo disaster behind them- we are reorganizing and using the theory we need to hit rock bottom before we can get better lol...) Rocky is the fluffy one and is the most chill cat ever. He spends about 99% of time lying around and can't be bothered by anything. The other 1% he spends instigating fights with his little sister. Luna is our little rescue cat and she can be very sassy but when she wants to snuggle she REALLY wants to snuggle. She gets right up in your face and won't stop giving kisses and it's so cute. She usually hides when company comes over unless they have kids and then she loves following them around. I'm hoping that means she'll be a fan of this baby!
This is our pup Higgins snuggling with my bump a few weeks ago. LO started kicking him and he was making the funniest faces. He has a lot of quirks, I swear he has OCD. If something in a room is out of place, it really freaks him out. For example, he was barking like crazy in the kitchen one day, and it took me 10 min to realize it was because of the big pan standing upright drying. He was so bothered by that!
This is my sweet little cuddle bug, Finn. He is a big fan of my pregnancy pillow (seems like he’s in good company with that lol). As far as quirks, he’s our other dog’s personal trainer. He will steal toys and make Ronan chase him around the house a few times, then give it back without playing with it at all.
This is Ronan (and my bump that is clearly a magnet for ingredients when I cook). He never lets me out of his sight anymore and prefers to be touching me at all times. He’s also a big fan of sticking to a schedule. If we don’t feed him on time he will go get his food bowl and throw it on the floor in front of us so it makes a huge banging noise.

This is cooper! He's our fabulous travel companion, food beggar, love bug snuggler. His quirk is that when his bladder is really full his aim is bad and he pee's all over the back of his right front paw
This is our cat Millie cuddling with the bump. It's a nightly ritual. Her quirks She doesn't understand how doors work and will pull them closed on herself instead of just pushing them open with her head. Most cats will dip their paw into a glass of water and lick the water off she can't figure out how to do this, it's pretty funny to watch.
A liftle late to the thread but top girl is princess. Her quirk is she loves to have her head covered when snuggling. Bottom girl snuggling with my bump is envy. I’ve had her since I was about 16 years old and she’s the best dog ever. Good natured, gentle and so sweet. Envy is spoiled so her quirk is she will bark at you when you’re least expecting it when she wants a taste of your food.
