I ate twice as much for dinner last night as my husband did and I have absolutely no regrets. We went to get shawarma and it was delicious and I was so hungry and I ate however much I wanted. Haha
@valentynsi I recently started ordering a salad with the pizza and garlic knots that I get while DH is out of town (he's not a fan of pizza) and despite the salad, I still ate 3 1/2 slices of pizza and garlic knots. It did keep me from binging on ice cream and candy later on since I was so full though. MH put on 20lbs trying to keep up with my breastfeeding diet though, so I don't usually feel too bad.
AFM: I asked work about work from home stuff because daycare is closed the day before and after Thanksgiving and my work is not. I secretly hope it's super easy and I can knock it out quick so I can go black friday shopping.

@valentynsi sadly I can usually out eat my husband (most people really) if I’m hungry... some combination of genetics, fast metabolism and a hardy appetite 🤷♀️ I did shock our waiter at the Italian restaurant the other night when I ate my entire dinner after going through a bowl of salad (split it with DH at least) and LOTS of garlic rolls... No shame in my eating game! @meggyme no flames here! I was Christmas shopping yesterday at work because things were slow!
AFM, my FFFC: I sincerely wish my dad and his wife would get divorced... (I know, sounds horrible but quick background: they’ve been together for 10 years, having obvious issues for most of that. She interferes in /limits his relationship with my sister and me, as well as with his grandkids, and she’s never treated us like or considered us her family. They were separated for most of last year and it was great, we saw and spoke to my dad SO much more!)
@lelkcot I'd call her grandma XYZ just to annoy her. haha! That is creepy. You don't really get to choose which familial relationship you want, but then again I'm picky with who I call Aunt/Uncle. MH is not and calls everyone Aunt and Uncle, where as I reserve it for actual family and my 2 best friends.

@meggyme when DH and I are feeling particularly irritated with her we discusse calling her Granny 😂 and I’m the same, Aunt/Uncle is reserved for family or very close friends.
I'm more the immature parent at heart. If society wasn't so critical of us moms I'd probably let my son get away with a lot more than I currently do. Some of the stuff I have to correct him on doesn't truly bother me, but I know it's frowned up within society.

Mainly curse words. Most curse words don't bother me if used in the right context and not directed towards someone. Such as "oh shit, I forgot XYZ", or "damn it, that hurt". The C word and F word used openly in public is on my eh there are more appropriate words that could be used, but in the privacy of your own home then go for it. Hope that makes sense. We are also a family that jokes around a lot, pranks, play wrestle, tease each other, etc.

@bdesterhouse haha! I think that was my UO yesterday! My husband and I both have pretty bad language, as do my inlaws. As long as my daughter can determine an appropriate time/place to use it, then bad words are just another word to me. I agree with not using it directed at someone, but that's more of a respect thing than anything to do with cursing. And if someone really deserves to be cursed at (by adult standards, not toddler standards) then more power to her if she does!

So all day my shirt has been smelling REALLY strongly of fabric softener, which MH likes to use but I don't. I was alarmed by how strong it was since I haven't worn this shirt in awhile, but blamed it on my pregnancy nose. Welp, I just found a dryer sheet up my sleeve.....

@meggyme thank you so much for that good laugh! I read the post to MH and he got a good laugh out of it too. That is exactly why I stopped using dryer sheets though. I use liquid softener instead. No sneaky dryer sheets anymore! Haha
I was waiting for a train on the platform once and a pair of underwear fell out of my pant leg! I was too embarrassed to pick it up so I just kept walking
Haha! Usually, when I undress at night, I take off my pants and underwear at the same time and just toss them on the floor or on a chair or wherever. I always wear pants more than once before washing. Multiple times I've put my pants on only to find a weird lump on my leg because I forgot to take an old pair of underwear out of the pants! *insert monkey-hiding-face emoji here* I'm trying to recall, but I think I actually didn't notice until I left the house once and pulled them out and had to stick them in my purse. Maybe I'm blanking that memory from my brain because I can't remember for sure if that actually happened or not.
@lovesclimbing, that’s what I do too and that has 100% happened to me LOL
