BFP 2 weeks after "period"?

I was convinced that I was pregnant, back in October.  I was two days late, and then got, what I thought was, my period.  Fast forward to two days ago (2 weeks after my "period") and on hunch, I took another pregnancy test, which came back a very strong positive.  I went to the store and got a digital test, which revealed "pregnant".  Has anyone had this happen?  With my daughter, I never had any bleeding during my pregnancy, so I'm a little confused.  This puts me around 6.5 weeks pregnant, if my last true period was September.  I have a pregnancy confirmation and sonogram, to determine gestational age, next Wednesday, but I'm so confused.  Anyone have this happen (where it was a successful pregnancy, not ectopic/miscarriage? I know a girl who had her period for her entire pregnancy, but it's just never happened to me! Thanks!

Right, so like I said... I got two positive tests, and have a doctor’s appointment next week.... just looking to see if anyone else had this happen to them.....

I am with you. I had a full "period" at the end of October. However, I have been tracking my temps and they stayed elevated after my period so I went ahead and took a test...positive. Went to the store at 5am to buy another...positive. Since then I have had two beta tests and my hcg numbers look good. I have an ultrasound tomorrow morning. 

This is my first time ever posting on this board and I know people get bent out of shape when you don't follow the "rules" but I just want to let you know you are not alone. Early pregnancy is a stressful time. Best wishes!!
