@expandcontract you've never seen a Christmas story?! Though, I do need to know what the context behind that gif is though @RoseShadow873 ... Are you decorating for Christmas? Watching Christmas movies? Touching ladies legs?
@eatinwatermelonseeds I went to the Christmas Story house today where the movie was filmed. It's one of the local tourist sites where I live and we were entertaining a guest from another state. And we had brunch and the Elf GIF was the best I could find.
@MaggieG183 how's that poop coming along? Did it pass, yet? Hehe.
@eatinwatermelonseeds No! I've actually never seen it beginning to end! I've only seen parts when it's on tv. I guess I know what I'm doing this Christmas!
@expandcontract Definitely! I think it's a great movie. I'll admit, I don't think I'd ever watching it start to finish until like last year or the year before lol. But I'd pretty much seen the whole thing in bits throughout the years.
@expandcontract that was actually for my son. I’m attempting potty training when we are home - having a naked toddler running around has been hilarious, until he has to poop, then I have an inner freak out moment hoping it’ll all end up in the potty. 💩 💩 💩
@MaggieG183 How’s the potty training going? DS is 2, and his daycare teacher told me he will go sometimes there, but he never has at home. I’m so torn on whether to keep encouraging him to (I haven’t been serious about it at all) or chalk it up to him not being completely ready. 🤷🏼♀️
Lol @MaggieG183 can i just pretend it was you? It's funnier in my head that way. Good luck with PT! I just read @poshspice post in the other thread about the same and I'm terrified!
@mrskoz428 I watched it last season, but I just can’t get back into it. It irritated me that they only showed the dispatcher actually working for like 1 min the entire season and her story mainly revolved around dating a firefighter 👎🏼
@expandcontract I can’t say I haven’t done that same little potty dance in the past, so... 🤷🏼♀️ 😆
and @megsb615 potty training is so-so. DS is 2 next month and I’ve been talking to him about potties and pee and poop for a loooong time. I would just love a break from diaper laundry before #2 comes along (we are 70% cloth over here). I haven’t been pushing the actual potty training super hard though - really, I’m taking cues from him. When we change diapers/clothes/after nap, I offer the potty and he’s gone pee a few times successfully on it in the past week or so and we’ve had 2 full poops. If I didn’t hate the word poop before, I sure do now!
I feel like I’m being lazy with it and I know I could push it way harder, but I’ve also heard horror stories about potty training boys early. I’d love for him to have a couple months fully potty trained during the day under his belt before May, but...eek. I don’t know that I have the courage to go full bore on it all yet.
Re: GIF game - What are you doing?
DD1: June 2014 - VBM4lyfe
DD2: October 2016
DC3: coming May 2019
Watching my kid play at a schoolmate’s birthday party, where I know no one! Lot’s of fun.
Grading papers... mine are essays though.
@mrskoz428 the bunny passing out! So cute!
