Those are both good points! My OB practice is part of the hospital ill be delivering at, so i do feel like my doctors/midwife are doing a good job of explaining things to me so far! Only one way to find out for sure.
And i totally agree with your second point, this thread has made me put more thought into not inviting anyone to the hospital until after birth. I think someone shared their story of having a c section and being happy about having another person there in addition to their partner. I still havent totally figured it out yet. My sister also works at the hospital ill be delivering at sooooooo even if I chose not to tell anyone, it may not be a secret for long!
