Change in due date by 11 days

Hi Everyone!

I just saw the doctor today. My due date was June 11th based off of my LMP, however the ultrasound determined the due date of June 22nd. An 11 day difference seemed like a lot to me? Has anyone else had an experience similar to this? And which estimate is more accurate?

You likely ovulated later than day 14, which is what LMP goes by. Unless you were charting your cycles you wouldn't know that. It's not uncommon to ovulate later in your cycle instead of CD14. 

Go with the US date. If you go with the LMP date you will end up with an induction  when baby isn't ready which will likely end in a c-section. 

I don't think I have seen you post on the board before this. We have a great group here but we like to keep our board organized and posts like this one are not encouraged.
