Hi all, just thought I would introduce myself. My partner and I started trying to conceive May 2017, I went off the pill and we got a BFP 4 months later. Unfortunately at 9 weeks I went for my dating scan only to find I had a MMC and the baby had stopped growing at 6w4d. I ended up having a D&E after misoprostol didn't work. It took a while to get PG again but in june I did, but it was a chemical, the next month I got a BFP again. This time I saw a little heartbeat at 6w (although I had a subchorionic hemorrhage) but at our 12 week scan we found we had another MMC this time the baby had stopped growing at 9weeks. I tried the misoprostol again and it worked (although was quite possibly the worst night of my life and certainly the worst pain I have ever been in.) It turns out I was carrying a little girl. As we are now classed as having recurrent loss I have had lots of tests, all of which came back normal except I had high FSH at 11.2. Waiting to see the specialist but I suppose that is the reason for my losses so far. I don't have a lot of knowledge about it but all that I can get back is that my eggs may be of lower quality which might explain my miscarriage as I am regularly ovulating. While I hope I won't be here long I hope I can soak up as much knowledge and positive vibes while I am here.
@lokibear89 I remember you from one of my previous BMBs. I'm sorry you're here, but I think you'll find the women on this board to be an amazing support system.
@lokibear89 I’m sorry for your losses, this group had a lot of supportive ladies! Hopefully you won’t be here long but it’s definitely helpful to have so many people that understand what you’re going through.
*lurking* @lokibear89 Oh no, I am so sorry to hear this news and I'm utterly heartbroken for you. I'll be lurking here for your updates and hope you can get more information about what might be causing your losses and how it fix it.
lokibear89 I'm so sorry to see you back here and sorry for your losses. It's awful to end up in the RPL classification, especially when there's nothing really 'wrong.' I hope you end up with your rainbow!
