Alright ladies - how'd it go last week?  How are we feeling?  (I am technologically challenged - hope the gif works!)

    I am doing okay! I did some great prenatal yoga last week thanks to the yogadownload.com recommendation from @meggyme, and I also got a few long walks in. Just trying to keep my body moving these days! 

    I honestly really miss the intensity of my previous workout routine, but I am learning that it’s okay to slow down too. My plan for this week is to sign back up with my local gym so that I can at least ride the elliptical and do some rowing indoors to try to break a sweat. 

    My food goal for the week is to commit to 100g of protein a day. I was reading the nutrition recommendations in the Bradley birthing book and realized I fall short of the protein goal most days.

    I think I was 1 for 2 on last weeks yoga workouts, but I did do a lot of walking this weekend in DC. And honestly my feet are still recovering from the high heels. We’re going trick or treating on Wednesday with friends, so there will definitely be some walking this week.

    I'm doing pretty good, but it's hard to feel like I'm doing much compared with how active I was before. I've been pretty consistent with doing prenatal yoga 6 days/week at home or going to class and just making modifications. I am able to get in some longer hikes Friday-Sunday and shorter hikes/walks a couple of other days during the week. 
     
    Like @maggiemadeit I need to eat more protein. I'm vegetarian so it's a bit more challenging, but I do eat a lot of beans, lentils, eggs, yogurt, and nuts. I just need to make sure I'm eating more of those things during each meal.

    The protein thing is so hard!  I still usually have to supplement with a shake even when I eat a ton. My pre-pregnancy goal was right around yours, @maggiemadeit.  

    Fingers crossed for good trick or treating weather!

    I made 6 workouts this week, only because I had to commit to 5 and had already gone Monday, which didn't count. 

    I totally agree on it being hard hard to cut back on the intensity. I look around at everyone else and feel like a slacker. And it doesn't help that my heart rate monitor measures calories. I have seen them slowly drop from 600, to 550, to 500, to 450.  Oh well. At least I made it in the door!

    edited to add that if anyone else isn't an internet idiot and knows how to post a gif...feel free to post mine!  I was mad I couldn't figure it out earlier today.

    Just yoga last week and already anxiously awaiting class this week. I’ve been exhausted so although I have great intentions to do multiple days a week, I haven’t quite managed it yet. Things have been hectic because DH keeps working long hours. 

    I am also struggling with the protein intake. I have started protein shakes again. I’m hoping this is going help boost my energy as well.

    I did ok with workouts last week, missed a couple. Hoping to stay on track this week (even though I did nothing yesterday). Might even squeeze in an extra walk since I’m not going into the office tomorrow!

    Had 2 strength workouts last week and a 5K treadmill run on Friday. For some reason I just felt like running, it wasn't pretty but I did it.
    This week has started slow but I did walk in a parade yesterday which was probably 2 miles? Hoping to get back "on track" with a strength the rest of the week.
