Any appointments? Questions?: Had an appt today with an anatomy scan! Baby looks great, measuring 1 week ahead.

Rants/Raves?: We found out sex of the baby today! But I had to get to work and my DH had to get to a chiro appt, so we really didn't get to let it sink in together.

How are you feeling?: Feeling good. Hungry almost all the time it feels like.

GTKY: How/are you celebrating Halloween? We usually go out with our friends and their kids. I don't know if I will be up for it this year, honestly. Walking a block or two downtown Saturday night had me dead all day on Sunday. I do have artificial pumpkins I want to paint with DD, so that will be a trip!

 Rants/Raves?: My LO has been absolutely hilarious & adorable recently. She always makes me laugh but she’s been extra cute lately. 

 How are you feeling?: Still yucky all the time but enough about that...

 GTKY: How/are you celebrating Halloween? Not sure. My hubby wants to take our LO trick or treating but last year was her first try of candy & her teeth have gone to h*** since then. She’s super addicted to sugar & I feel like we’ve only recently curbed that addiction so don’t really want to encourage that again. BUT I definitely want her to dress up so we will have to find something to do that doesn’t involve so much candy. Last year she was Little Orphan Annie since she has red curly hair & my husband was Daddy Warbucks. I was thinking of Strawberry Shortcake this year but she says she wants to be a rabbit. I guess I’ve lost control of the decision-making already hahaha.

 Rants/Raves?: Happy to finally be home from the 17 hour road trip back to TX with my granny. Had a great time in Carolina seeing lots of old friends with the quick trip. 

 How are you feeling?: Feeling good overall. Ate enough junk on the road so can't tell what is baby and what is bloat lol

 GTKY: How/are you celebrating Halloween? I may wear something cute, yet professional to work that day. I work in an office, but have to deal with people buying million + homes, so probably shouldn't go too crazy lol  Then I'll prob come home and hide from kids with my own candy :-)

 Rants/Raves?: I went to a prenatal yoga class today! 

 How are you feeling?: Pretty good this week. Headaches still come and go and lower back pain when I do too much. 

 GTKY: How/are you celebrating Halloween? Not sure yet. We might dress up and go downtown to watch drunk people at the bars.

Due date: April 4 but I’ll be delivering at 37 weeks so towards the end of March 

 Any appointments? Questions?: next week anatomy scan! Does anyone use epsom salt for achy muscles? I used it before I was preggers and wanted to know if it was safe to use now. Also has anyone experienced anxiety? I have really bad anxiety and usually take Ativan but I can’t now that I’m pregnant. My nerves have been getting to me. I will also ask my doc during next appointment. 

 Rants/Raves?: sorry I haven’t posted in a while. I got into a pretty bad car accident  and totaled my car. I’m ok and Baby is ok thank goodness. 

 How are you feeling?:  I’m feeling good, my emotions do get the best of me though. Also lots of lower back pain and some heart burn. Any suggestions on how to relieve heartburn?

 GTKY: How/are you celebrating Halloween? I go trick or treating with my sibling and their kids around our parents neighborhood. Usually the parents have cocktails for the parents but my mom is making me mocktails this year lol

@mamabear1010 Nice to see you back again! So sorry to hear about your accident but thank God you & baby are just fine! 

Re: your questions: I soak my feet in epsom salts when they hurt after standing too long. They’re safe during pregnancy, but if you’re going to do a whole body soak you must make sure the water isn’t too warm (as with any bath during pregnancy). (And don’t ingest them during pregnancy.)

I haven’t dealt with anxiety but quite a few moms in here have been experiencing it and asking about medications. If you post it in the Questions or Symptoms threads you will likely get a lot of views & supportive feedback. Hang in there!

 Any appointments? Questions?: 2 more weeks...so jealous of everyone getting their AS already!!!

 Rants/Raves?: It was a weird weekend...couple rants and raves but just chalking it up as weird

 How are you feeling?: I feel like I have energy again! Occasionally nauseous but usually just need to eat and it goes away 

 GTKY: How/are you celebrating Halloween? We take the kiddos around the block and then pass out candy from home. It’s supposed to be really chilly so we will probably just go to a few houses. MIL invited herself to tag along 🙄

@m3ganmc Yay for your energy returning and hopefully MIL is nothing but fun on Halloween, hahaha.

I am excited for my AS today but a bit worried that it may be too early, based on what some of the others moms have said about theirs & having to go back in another couple weeks.  I don't want to expose the baby to too many ultrasounds so hopefully it's all smooth sailing and we can get all the measurements we need today.

 Any appointments? Questions?: Anatomy scan on the 30th! Can't wait to take another peek at this munchkin and make sure everything is developing properly.

 Rants/Raves?: DH and I took a weekend "babymoon" trip and it was really nice. I got a massage while we were there and felt like a new person after. I wish they weren't so expensive, otherwise I'd probably get one every week!

 How are you feeling?:  Not bad. Starting to have a few random aches and pains, and I still have RLP and sciatic pain now and then but those have calmed down. Back exercises help!

 GTKY: How/are you celebrating Halloween?  Not much of a Halloween person to be honest, it's fun but not my favorite holiday. We haven't even decorated this year... Maybe we'll get candy for the trick or treaters though.

@mamabear1010 So glad you and baby are okay after the accident. I deal with anxiety but have never been on meds for it, I was in therapy a few years ago for it and found some ways to cope through that. It'd be worth asking your doctor about either meds or therapy though, anxiety is rough on both you and potentially baby too. 

@kristimh80 Are you from NC/SC originally? I'm from NC. Sorry if I've asked you this before and forgot, I lose track of where people are!!

@kristimh80 I grew up in the Raleigh area and now I'm in the triad! I always thought I'd end up moving out of state, and I did briefly for school but after 2 years, I wanted to come back! Haha. Good to have other NC folks here.

 Rants/Raves?: Raving - we've had someone bring bagels from my favorite bagel place to work TWICE in the last week - give me all the carbs  

 How are you feeling?: Overall feeling pretty good, stomach definitely says "f-it" by the end of the day and I've got a big 'ol bump haha. Jeans are starting to be uncomfortable but I don't quite want to break down into my maternity jeans yet since it'll be a long winter wearing them. I've had a couple headaches behind my eye that Tylenol didn't touch so a friend recommended drinking a can of regular coke or put cream of tartar under my tongue. Opted for the coke and it seemed to do the trick - just a head's up for anyone else struggling with headaches/migraines!

GTKY: How/are you celebrating Halloween? We are taking DD to the zoo on Sunday where they let the kids trick-or-treat and have Halloween-themed enrichment for the animals. On Halloween DH & I are both taking off work early so we can get home, get supper, and head to a cute little town where we used to live to trick-or-treat in the neighborhood. I've yet to finish Hocus Pocus once this season so that's a must-do before next Wednesday

 Rants/Raves?: I'm my own rant. We had a crazy weekend but that's no excuse for not cleaning up a cutting board I used for raw meat on Sunday. I swear I'm going to do it today. Rave-ish is that we moved all our large furniture Saturday, and DD has sleep great in the new house for 3 nights. There were a few wake ups, but all in all a great success. It's only a rave-ish because we still have a lot of annoying little stuff to do, like get new drivers licenses with updated addresses etc.

 How are you feeling?: exhausted from moving. Impatient to feel baby moving. Annoyed at people who won't let me step one step up a stepladder to hang drapes-esp when it's my 70 year old aunt. Woman, leave me alone. I am still capable of some things!

 GTKY: How/are you celebrating Halloween? We have a party we plan to attend as a family, then DH will take DD home and I'll stay and play boardgames. I also sent a friend a gift for dia los muertos because she lost her dad 3 months ago.
