It's just a two-weeker at 33 weeks, but maybe with bonus ultrasound? Last appt my OB said I was done with ultrasounds because everything is progressing normally - but my appt reminder email clearly said "Ultrasound at __, appointment at __." Either way, DH can't join me, and I hope I can see this kid again for the last time before he rips my loins in twain

Another weekly growth scan on Wednesday, I have these every week until he's here! He "passed" perfectly fine last week and has seemed to be developing pretty normally even with me having GD, so FX he keeps it up!
I have my 34 week appointment tomorrow! Should be routine and quick but a.) gonna check if she wants to test my iron and thyroid again because I am still SO tired and b.) I am not looking forward to weighing in because my weight has shot up a little bit this last week. Bleh. Oh well! It kind of is what it is at this point!
Oh, and c.) I have to get a prescription to order my breast pump! Editing to add that here so hopefully I don't forget!
@maureenmce ugh I keep forgetting to call my insurance for my breast pump. I didn't need an Rx three years ago so I'm hoping that hasn't changed. Hopefully they can get it sent quickly since I've procrastinated calling them so much!!
32 week appointment today which I'm very excited about because it'll be our first "real" ultrasound since 20 weeks. We had a quick one in the hospital two weeks ago when my blood pressure was high but they didn't do any measurements or give us any pictures so I'm curious to see how big he is. Today's appointment also starts my weekly non-stress tests. Fingers crossed all goes well!
Seeing bebe on an ultrasound this Thursday It should be fun to see, since I went to the hospital for a NST last Thursday, and I feel like she might have moved her head since then. We will see if I am right!
Lots of ultrasounds this week! Hope you all get some good looks at your LOs! And GL to those with other appointments this week.
AFM, I start my weekly appointments on Thursday. We have an ultrasound and NST in the morning. I'm so excited to see baby bean again - I can't believe we haven't seen him since July 3rd! But, I will then be past the longest stretch without seeing him, so that's awesome! Hoping to find out how big/long baby bean is and what position he's in to get a better idea of when he may be making his arrival.

I had my 30 week appointment this morning. The baby’s heart rate sounded good, I am measuring on track, and I got my TDAP. I signed my VBAC consent form, which was a bit frightening, but hopefully I go into labor on my own and all goes well.

Had my 32ish week appointment today. All looked good but was told my fundal height was measuring closer to 34 weeks which is weird because at my last ultrasound ( 2 weeks ago) baby was measuring at the 48%. It had to be the position, right?
@rcultrona I was told baby was 47% at a growth scan but then 2 days later told I was measuring 33 weeks (I was 32+2). Baby's position can make a huge difference for fundal height! I wouldn't worry too much about it right now, if it stays ahead or you're further ahead at the next appointment (meaning more than 2 weeks ahead of actual) then they may say something, but if the u/s is measuring right on track I'd say you're fine!
I had my 34 (!!!) week appointment today - the beginning of weeklies for me. He sounded good and is measuring a week ahead—no wonder I've felt so huge the last couple of days. Starting next appointment (Monday), though, I'll have nonstress tests. My next ultrasound is at week 36, on 11/5!
My 34 week appointment went well! Got my breast pump prescription, she didn't even mention my weight (and it wasn't as much of a jump as I was thinking it was anyway), she is unconcerned about my fatigue and thinks it's normal 34 weekish fatigue + having a toddler this time around (I am inclined to agree) so all went well. I also randomly mentioned I'd been having some watery discharge lately so she did a swab to test if it was amniotic fluid and it's not, so everything seems to be fine. My OB was trying to figure out baby boy's position while listening to his heartbeat with the doppler, but she wasn't 100% sure, so I cannot wait for the 36 week ultrasound - just 2 weeks and 1 day, and then I go weekly (whaa???? time is flying!)
Baby boy would not cooperate at my appointment yesterday for the nonstress test. Every time she strapped on the monitor for his heartbeat, he moved away, so after 10 minutes she gave up. Everything looked great on the ultrasound though, he is measuring generally at about 33+4 (I was 31+6 yesterday) and he weighs about 4 1/2 pounds. He's head down now too so hopefully he stays that way. Blood pressure is still high so she changed her mind about weekly nonstress tests and now I will go twice weekly and to the hospital instead of her office.
Add me to the ultrasound and NST group this week! My appt is Thursday afternoon and I plan on being there for a bajillion hours because that's what happened last time on a Thursday afternoon. Owen keeps measuring bigger at every appointment

I hate afternoon appointments. Hope it’s faster than you anticipate
had my 32 week check up today. All went well. Met a new Dr because my regular NP doesn't do deliveries. Actually loved the dr, and kinda hope she ends up being on call when I go into labor. I'll meet another one *TW* (re-meet, she did my D&C in december) *end TW* in 2 weeks when I go back. Then we are on to weekly appts. I never know what questions to ask and always feel like I'm missing something at these appointments.
@morgantu It's nice when you like your doctors! I think I've met ~6 so far and I've liked them all. It's not a problem with me that my mat clinic has many doctors and you never know which one will be on call when you go into labor, but I didn't realize they had THAT many! And I don't think I've met them all yet either..

My OB is the only one in the practice I’ve seen, except an NP for my 8 week visit. Which is great, she’s amazing, and it really helps for continuity and management of a bunch of things. But what if she’s not on when I deliver? Probably I should chat with her about it next week.
Tomorrow is hospital tour, Monday endocrinologist appointment (thyroid levels are good since increasing meds, I don't think the appointment is necessary but oh well), and OB next Monday. Nothing too crazy exciting.
Officially a two weeker! Appointment yesterday 10/23 went great baby boy is measuring a week and a few days ahead. Before apt I was 30W+2d with DD 12/31. Now we’re 31W+5d DD 12/21! I’ll take those few extra days off!! Another plus I haven’t gained a lot of weight this pregnancy just 5lbs I’ll probably gain the bulk of it on Thanksgiving LoL
@katy0990 Yay for the VBAC!! I hope it all works out . I've seen lots of people have successful experiences.
@morgantu I do what @katy0990 does! I make notes of any questions or concerns in my phone, otherwise I forget everything.
@Katzalia It's worth it to ask. In my office they like me to see each midwife at least once, so that way I am familiar with whoever delivers baby. I think there is only one new midwife since I last had a baby, so it's not as critical for me, but I love that they do that.
@texas_t That is frustrating. I try to avoid afternoon appointments for that reason. I've had one around that time this pregnancy.

@morgantu Conversely, I go analog and take a tiny clipboard & notepad to my appointments. I tear a new page for each appt, and on the new sheet I record my last weight & BP, and baby’s last info. That way when I get the newest numbers I can compare right away. I write all of my questions there, and record answers on the spot. I know I could do the same with my phone, but I just prefer using pen and paper.
Had a good appointment today! The office was super busy, the ultrasound tech didn’t know what the scan was for either, so she did a general scan & a few measurements. Little dude was cooperative and let her get everything. He’s about 35th percentile and four pounds. I had a bit of glucose in the urine again though. OB isn’t worried about surprise GD, but I may change my breakfast to something GD friendly just for good measure. Only gained four pounds, and my next two-week appt will be my last - weeklies are next

@loccmom2 do you know why they changed your due date? Like, what the difference has to be date wise? I’m just curious. I have never heard of them changing it after first trimester. Honestly, I am helping mine gets changed, so I can for sure not be in the hospital for Christmas.
@katy0990 My old OB has left the office, Nurses won’t say why or what for so I’ve gotten a new OB (still in the same office) and he wanted new measurements other than what was already taken, I wasn’t going to complain got to see my baby boy. He said the main reason he wanted me to be remeasured is I have irregular periods. That being said I more than likely conceived around 03/20-25 my last period was end of December last year. Having irregular periods I take a PT once a month I didn’t get my positive until May, tested to early in April.
@loccmom2 That is so weird that they changed your due date. Like @katy0990 I've never heard of that. Also, if you didn't get a positive test until May, I seriously doubt you're over 31 weeks. I got my positive April 17, at 13 DPO, and I'm only 30+5 today. That's a little confusing. Based on what I've heard, the measurements during the beginning of pregnancy are more accurate as all babies grow at the same then. If you go overdue, wouldn't be surprised!

@AdorkablePixie like I stated before I’m not sure why my original OB is no longer in office. My new OB asked for new measurements. And I also stated before I tested to early in April (I test at the beginning of each month) that’s why I didn’t get my positive until May (tested on May 1). My old OB didn’t go off measurements he went off when I got my positive which we know Now was wrong!
@loccmom2 Did you have a dating scan? Or what was your earliest scan? Those tend to be much more accurate.. For example, I've had two ultrasounds in the last week, one putting baby in the 75th percentile (so ahead) and one in the 25th to 50th. At this point, baby's position can make a big difference in the estimates..
@ab_canada I have another ultrasound scheduled for next week 10/30 with a specialist to make sure(my Dr office has there own ultrasound techs) my first measurements that were taken put me at my current weeks, But my first OB was going off when I got my positive. New OB doesn’t want to go off what old OB has done.
@loccmom2 Oh ok. So you never really had a dating scan. That must be frustrating. It's already hard for me to wait for my due date. I can't imagine not really knowing what my due date is...
@ab_canada I had one at “12” weeks and even then I was measuring ahead. My first OB wasn’t going off measurements!! So yes I DO know my due date have known since first measurements were taken. But like I keep saying my first OB wasn’t going off measurements. New OB IS going off measurements. Specialist is just to confirm what we already know! 12/31 to 12/21 a week and few days ahead not much of a difference. But a significant one to not go overdue!!
Hello ladies so my growth scan showed baby is head up breached. She was down last appt. So she gave me yoga poses to do try to get her to move. I am a little scared but I have time right 32w? Any experiences?
