@AshVA I think it leads to a “denial” like a withdrawal is a denial for some time period... no idea how long but I will withdraw my invite again.

Got it! Totally had to search out the group in the long list of groups, but that worked.

I can’t do it through the app. I haven’t tried through the mobile site yet.

I just requested through the app. I had to go to groups and then "all popular groups" and scroll through some pages till I found the January 19 PG group (for me it was on page 5) It let me click on it and request from there  hopefully that works

@sfgiantsgamerbabe Try what drabong88 did; that's what I did, too, and it worked. Don't try to search through new groups, because it won't work.

I had to do the same as @mtengland @drabong88 but I got it. This app is frustrating.

Yep, the button is grayed out again. Let's leave it for now and see if that changes in the next day or so. 

In my head, this whole invite/ request for admission back and forth is like when someone tries to open a car door at the same time the person inside tries to unlock it, and neither are successful, but they keep trying again and again.

That worked for me too but my join button is still greyed out.

I *think* it finally let me send the request but now I think my app is just broke.  Stupid bump app 🙄

 +1 to this. I’ve tried multiple times. I thought I forgot how to internet. Grateful to know it isn’t just me. Once we figure it out I would love to join. I’ll keep trying

@wolfmum Just officially requested to join. FX I get accepted and the bump lets me actually join

With as many issues as they have, you would think they would hire some quality developers to work some of this out. It's been years now.

Way back when, they used a third party to host and maintain their site and thus databases. I suspect they go with the cheapest option but have very little hands on with their own coding and such. It may have changed but I remember the discussion before they did the giant overhaul of the forums like.....6 or 7 years ago?

I was active on TTGP for a year or so back in 2015/2016.  I remember the website was bad, but don't remember it being this bad, all of the time.

I think it was when they changed all of the TOU and there was a massive exodus. It was so incredibly different here 8+ years ago when I joined. My July 13 board was so active and went all went private to proboards and Facebook when TB went crazy. That was 2014 so it's weird for me seeing it so bad. It wasn't this bad at all back then. All of the boards were really active. So many people posted in so many places.

I think I was finally able to request to join. Last night I kept getting an error and then the app would crash so maybe tonight is my night!

Whoever shared what page it was on, THANK YOU. I think I requested to join. It worked searching through popular groups.

I think I was able to click join through the app... but I had to search through all groups before I could click on the link to the group (it was on of 3 for me)

I probably won’t follow you guys to a private group, as I can’t guarantee I’d post as much as you’d like due to anxiety issues around pregnancy and the new baby that often make it hard for me to share, and I can see how that’d be annoying (I already barely post). I’ll stick around here for the most part, though. Good luck with your PG!

Welp i'm still here... I can't get into the private group.  I'm having technical issues and haven't heard back from the bump admin. I'm hoping Monday admin will get back to me

@ms_stevens87 i think most of us will do both groups or at least that's how it worked in my old BMB until after baby's were born...then people stuck to their smaller groups

@AshVA @ladystout08 and @galactickates I called and emailed TB about it. Yes I did leave a voicemail spelling out your bump screennames. It was special. 

No luck on desktop today- shows that @galactickates was invited w no response and no pending requests to join as of right now.

@alexandraseattle - You can't click on the main page.  You have to go to view all popular groups and find it.  It was on page 3 last time I tried
