Reaching out to California moms, specifically Kettleman City moms whose babies were born with birth defects. Over a period of nearly three years, at least 11 babies were born with serious birth defects, mostly cleft lips or palates, but others more serious. Birth Defect Research for Children would like to help families in Kettleman and other parts of California look more deeply into why more babies each year are born with birth defects.
