Baby is 12w old, but 9 days adjusted.
We had to go to the pediatrician earlier this week, and it was between feeding times, so I didn’t bring a bottle. The little stinker decided he was hungry while we were at the dr’s office, and despite the fact that breastfeeding has been hit and miss for us, I went ahead and tried it. Max latched right away and did an awesome job.
2) How are you feeling, Mom?
Exhausted. Max has some reflux issues, and only wants to eat half his feeding at a time, with the other half an hour and a half later So, let’s do the math... 20 min to feed, hold baby upright for 20 min. Expect 10min to set up and clean up. So, 40 minutes to sleep? Maybe. When do they start sleeping through the night?

4) GTKY: What has been your favorite moment with baby so far?
Probably the first time he rolled over. It was so unexpected for both of us.

1 week 4 days
2) How are you feeling, Mom?
Physically I’m feeling great! Good enough that I sometimes over do it and start to bleed again. Emotionally much better than last week, the baby blues seem to have passed and I’m getting more sleep. I’m over over thinking feeding issues and for right now EPing so nursing stress is gone.
3) Rants / Raves / Questions?
I’m having a weird reaction to the fact that LO came so fast that it almost seems surreal. It’s almost like I feel like I missed out on her birth. I also feel like DH wasn’t there. He doesn’t stay in the room for the actual delivery since he’d pass out, but with DD1 he made it long enough to see her crowning. This time we were only in the hospital 2 hours before LO came and he had to keep leaving through blood draws, the epidural, and him seeing the aftermath of a botched IV. His tolerance for blood was gone so he left as soon as I started to push. It makes me a little sad.
4) GTKY: What has been your favorite moment with baby so far?
Just laying on the couch with her on my chest is amazing.

2) How are you feeling, Mom? Not too bad! Kinda tired, kinda sore
3) Rants / Raves / Questions? We were allowed to leave the hospital about 24 hours after Sam was born. Only sleeping at the hospital one night was amazing!
4) GTKY: What has been your favorite moment with baby so far? Watching his facial expressions. He’s so dramatic already

Mia is 10 days old

Tired and like a milk dispenser. Feeding id my whole purpose right now which adds to the lack of sleep.

Her being placed on my chest for the first time.

Sawyer and Theodore are 3 weeks old today! They've been eating really well and are such good babies! We're getting better at Tummy time too! And Theodore is almost out of Nb clothes!
2) How are you feeling, Mom?
I've been feeling great physically, like a cow sometimes with how often they eat but happy they're growing and healthy. Today I started getting emotional thinking about my little man already moving up in some clothes.. he's still in Nb onesies but pjs are too tight so were gonna see how the next size up looks tonight. I'm also a little overwhelmed.. they're starting to stay awake for longer after they eat and want to be entertained and talked to and when I'm home alone with them I feel so rushed to feed burp and change them and move right on to the other that I feel like they're missing out on a lot of valuable one on one time with me and vice versa... I want them to get stimulated and not feel ignored but I cant be two moms at once...

4) GTKY: What has been your favorite moment with babies so far?
Little cheesy but everything! I love tandem feeding in the recliner so they can both lay on me and eat. I love when they finish eating and do such big stretches that they make little noises and adorable facial expressions.
I think my favorite moment with Theodore was when they first put him on me, he was so calm and quiet and we just stared at each other for minutes and I talked to him while they finished up my section.
Sawyer I'd have to say when she's deep sleeping on me she has this sort of hum that she does and it's the cutest sound. My gram used to hum herself to sleep so to hear Sawyer do it gives me all kinds of emotions.
1) How old is baby; any milestones or brags this week? 5w tomorrow, would have been 38w.
2) How are you feeling, Mom? A bit better, though it's mostly NBR stuff that is my current issue. DD is great. Trying to get closer to being able to take care DS and DD at the same time, no help. I'm not there yet. Both my mom and H went back to work this week. My mom works halftime, 2 days, and H is only working 2 days a week to extend his time. So I'm not alone... but eventually I'll have to be.
3) Rants / Raves / Questions? BTDT moms. How long until you can handle 2 kids at once? Between feeding and pumping for DD, and DS being a toddler - I don't know how.
4) GTKY: What has been your favorite moment with baby so far? She's awake more now, so I love when she lays on my chest and looks up at me. Full eye contact and I can just see get getting to figure it all out. I love that.

4 weeks yesterday, and tomorrow she’ll be one month and it’s her due date!

Really good. No complaints

Yesterday was DH’s last day home. He and I and Maisie went out for breakfast after dropping the big kids off at school. In the afternoon DH watched the kids (including Maisie) while I got to go have a massage. It was so nice.
4) GTKY: What has been your favorite moment with baby so far?
Finding out she was a girl
DH announced it when she was born, saying “we have a little Maisie!”

Liam is 8 days old today.
2) How are you feeling, Mom?
Bleeding is getting better and the area that tore feels much better. Back and tailbone hurts bad.
3) Rants / Raves / Questions?
I keep getting clogged milk ducts because Liam falls asleep before emptying my breasts. I have tried everything and eventually ended up doing heat compress, massage, and pumping after he “finished” eating. I ended up getting 3oz from the clogged breast after he ate. Guess he isn’t nursing as well as I thought or I’m hugely over producing.
4) GTKY: What has been your favorite moment with baby so far?
Liam is much more cuddly then Sadie was. I have been loving all of the newborn cuddles.
