Nothing causes this because it doesn't happen.  An un-implanted embryo can't stay alive that long just floating around your ute.

@Mommietobe2016 I'm newish here but check out these threads and read through them. The "Trying to Get Pregnant" thread is probably a little different than threads you've probably used and there are some guidelines that need to be followed when creating new discussions and/or asking certain types of questions .

@dpjennifer it was a thread asking about grants for TTC. OP said that she and her "finance" (we can only assume she mean fiance) lived in different states, which she thought entitled her to grant funds for IVF.

Lurking... I will say embryonic dipause is a thing in some species of mammals that can delay implantation for months but not in humans...  Maybe OP is an otter?
