PCOS, IUI with injects first time

Hello! I am 29 yo with PCOS. I have been on metformin since February and also have done Clomid x6 months. My AMH is > 40. We just started our first month with injectable, and going low and slow due to the high risk of over stim. Our plan is for iui ( which is covered by insurance). We are paying OOP for the meds. I went today for US and it is only showing one follicle, which is disappointing, as we were hoping to see more. I have to follow up in 2x more days. Any one have luck with 1 follie?

  • Hello @ispi ! I've only had one iui so far so I am by no means an expert...... but I've read tons of stories of people getting their BFP with one! Some REs won't even proceed with the IUI if you have more than one or two! You only need one to make it happen so don't be too disappointed! Good luck!!! ^^
