1) How old is baby; any milestones or brags this week?
Max is now officially past his due date, and 10 and a half weeks old. He pulled out his feeding tube to celebrate his due day, and the doctors said we can try with it out. I’m now anxiously waiting for him to finish all his bottles and come home.
2) How are you feeling, Mom?
Anxious and ready for Max to come home I put sheets in his crib yesterday and finished organizing the things. All his stuff is set up and waiting. It is time for him to come home.
3) Rants / Raves / Questions?
Had yet another conversation with the Nurse Manager two days ago about the round robin of nurses. And still got a new nurse last night.
I know she tried to find one Max had had before, but it says a lot about how many pool nurses Max has had that she couldn’t given how big the facility is.
4) GTKY: When baby gets to name their first pet, what do you think the name will be?
Given that I like to give human names to pets, I’m pretty sure Max will name his pet something like Dorito or Guacamole. (Maybe I’m just hungry?)
I'm binge watching Parenthood and when I was reading this Max was watching guacamole shed his skin! Max and guacamole

Sawyer and Theodore are 2 weeks old today! They're above their birth weights, cry and eat and poop all the time, and LOVE to snuggle and be held ALL. THE. TIME. It's great and I love it
2) How are you feeling, Mom?
Sometimes I'm overwhelmed, but I'm trying to keep the go with the flow mentality I had in pregnancy and just be their mom and do what I think they need.
3) Rants / Raves / Questions?
Rave: I know Sawyer and Theo are fraternal twins but it seriously amazes me how different they are from day one!! She has brown eyes, hes got blue, everything scares him or gets his startle reflex going, shes unbothered, hes so much bigger (little over a pound but that's a lot when you go from holding her to him) it's so cool to see the differences at the same time as they grow.
Rant: at their appointment today their dr asked if he could call Theodore Theo, which we said at the first appointment was fine. But today he asked because "when I say Theodore it makes me think of a chipmunk" umm thanks for that, it's only my child name...
4) GTKY: When baby gets to name their first pet, what do you think the name will be?
I can't even imagine. I named most of my cats 50/50 people names or 'pet names' like smokey so I hope my kids are way more creative

Andrew turned 2 weeks old a couple of days ago. He’s over a pound above his birth weight which is amazing because it took my other two about a month to get to this point.
2) How are you feeling, Mom?
Fine. I still have an internal stitch which is driving me crazy because it’s constantly itchy, but I’m sure it’ll dissolve soon.

He’s just SUCH an easy baby. My other two were so difficult and I feel like he’s so much different than them. He almost makes me willing to have a 4th...almost.

No clue, because I sure as hell will not be getting my kids any pets

Babe is 4 days old. I think we’re over the clusterfeed hump. It almost killed me.
2) How are you feeling, Mom?
Physically I feel great! My labor was quick with little pushing and no tearing so I got super duper lucky. Of course my midsection feels like jello. Mentally the first few days were really rough. The lack of sleep, hormones, and anxiety really hit me hard. I think I’m freaking DH out a bit. But I finally got some sleep last night and feel like a whole new person today.

4) GTKY: When baby gets to name their first pet, what do you think the name will be?
We currently have two cats and I'm of the mind set that these will be our last pets... at least for a while. But if the time comes I’m hoping for the human name, but a funny human name.
1) How old is baby; any milestones or brags this week? 4w tomorrow! She has gained over a pound since getting out of the hospital!
2) How are you feeling, Mom? Ok. My limit is much closer than normal, but I'm mentally much better. I'm fairly sure with everything going on in life and having a toddler at home - had she been in NICU much longer I'd have hit depression. As I get better I'm realizing how close I was. Now I'm just stressed with life.
3) Rants / Raves / Questions? Woohoo @knottieamusements! It's so amazing to have them home! +1 to F pumping. Are you allowed to bf? I'm only cleared for twice a day so she can get enough fortified milk. But she's gaining well so I'm hopeful I'll be able to do it more often.
4) GTKY: When baby gets to name their first pet, what do you think the name will be? Ha! No idea. But I tend to do mythological figures names, so maybe I'll work them into that. It'll likely be a character from something though.
1) How old is baby; any milestones or brags this week? Cecilia is 10 days old! So far, she’s an easier baby than her brother. She eats less and sleeps more. She can already lift her head too.
2) How are you feeling, Mom? Physically good! My labor was much easier and my body is healing quicker. Mentally, Tired and anxious. I had my first anxious meltdown last night around 4am. My anxiety is different this time. Last time it was me loosing her, this time it’s her loosing me.

STM? Anyone feel like their let down is different this time?

DS will probably name our next pet a made up word.

Maisie was 3 weeks yesterday (Friday). We had her weighed and she gained 10oz in a week, so breastfeeding is working well!
2) How are you feeling, Mom?
Good enough that we all went 5-pin bowling last night

My kids are all over Maisie, to the point they poke her and wake her up on a pretty regular basis. It’s great they love her, but just leave her alone!!
4) GTKY: When baby gets to name their first pet, what do you think the name will be?
If she’s influenced by her siblings, someone from Star Wars or Harry Potter...
ETA I jinxed it. Woke up in a puddle
If he doesn’t figure it out soon, I’m going to pump as long as I can at 4-5 times a day, as long as it doesn’t interfere with taking care of him in other respects. If my supply disappears at that low of frequency, we’ll switch to formula once the stockpile runs out - I figure we have enough frozen to take him to about 4 months if I stop producing tomorrow.

Little One is 4 days old, he got his oxygen tube off, got his IV out, but they've put him back on the jaundice light pad.
2) How are you feeling, Mom?
Emotionally I'm glad to be able to see my little one. Otherwise, stressed out. He's still in the NICU, and not being about to be with him all the time is really stressful. I just want to be able to go home with my little one.

We already have pet so he won't really get to name one.
