I don't miss these yet but when I'm forced to convert to maternity wear, I know I will... Functional front pants pockets! I have been looking all over the internet and have found maybe two pairs of maternity jeans with real front pockets. I understand some designs can't accomodate pockets but some of these pants definitely have space for pockets.
In the last year I got really into running (I ran 3 half marathons in less than 6 months) I lost a bunch of weight and was the smallest I’d ever been (I’ve always been chubby) and I was loving watching my body change. I miss that. I don’t hate seeing my body change in a different way either. It’s just taking some getting used to! I’ve kept up my running pretty consistently this pregnancy so far and it’s been good but I do miss being able to run and run without getting easily windy or pelvic pain.
I miss wine, ibuprofen, and Diet Pepsi! The Diet Pepsi has been the worst for me so far. I know I could probably have it and be fine, but I'm too paranoid.
I mean, I feel like lunch meat is probably not really that dangerous. But given my OB literally only told me like 3 off limits things, and that was one of them, I'm sticking to it. She said lunch meat had to be heated in the microwave until steaming, and that sounds disgusting to me
I’m in not a huge alcohol drinker by any means but oh do I crave beer. My weeknight wine, not so much, but oh the beer. I make DH drink one and then kiss me. I know a sip probably wouldn’t hurt baby, but I just can’t.
Also, stomach sleeping, sleeping in general (I ranted about my dreams in randoms), making it through the day without a panic attack (pre-pregnancy anxiety is now through the roof), and wearing my favorite jeans. I’m not skinny by any means but oh did I feel good in the right pair of jeans.
Luckily, my OB is pretty lax on restrictions, so I’ve had sushi 1-2 times, and he specifically said Jimmy John’s wouldn’t hurt a thing. I’m actually more wary of store bought deli meat than anything else.
I miss sleeping all night without constantly having to get up to pee several times.

Leaning against the counter with my pubic bone while washing dishes, my face, brushing my teeth, etc. It's the random daily activities you don't even think about that drive me crazy, haha.
I know we're all just venting together and not ungrateful for these little blessings - we know it's worth it. So I'll chime in: I'm missing my energy. PG has really knocked me down this time around. I don't normally have a small chest but PG has just ballooned them back out as they swell up, not cool. I miss sleeping without having to get up to pee. I also miss alcohol. Not a big drinker but would occasionally have a beer/glass of wine, etc. Really missed having a margarita on my birthday. I haven't given up caffeine, but I have limited myself to one small cup of coffee a day. Always followed up with water so I wouldn't get dehydrated. However, the last couple of weeks, I haven't wanted it much. I miss wanting food. The food aversions have been pretty all over the place this time and while it has let up, I don't feel like I have my normal appetite for stuff that I usually like.
Re: What do you miss?
