1) How old is baby; any milestones or brags this week?
39w2d gestational. Just shy of 10w as an out baby.
Max has officially outgrown preemie clothes and newborn diapers. (One of his nurses is a diaper fanatic, and moves him up a pound or so before he hits the listed size.) Speaking of which, he is 7lbs, 2oz
2) How are you feeling, Mom?
Better for having gotten a good night’s sleep. I decided pumping at night sucks. Hopefully that decision doesn’t kill my supply, but 6-7 straight hours of sleep is awesome.
Other than that - if I have one more NICU person explain to me that feeding is the hardest part, I’m going to scream. I’ve already started cutting them off with a boundary statement that I don’t want to hear it again.

Along the previous lines, a big shout out to Max’s speech therapist for validating my feelings rather than lecturing me about how it is the hardest part- and then following up by adding in another visit to help support me with feeding him.

President. And then I realized that politics were nasty, and why anyone would drag their family through that was insane. Also, my Dad gave me his honest assessment that I wouldn’t do well in politics because I tell it like I think it is and people don’t want to hear that.

Sawyer and Theodore are a week old today! They hiccup all the time, look all over at things and make all the noises! I love it
2) How are you feeling, Mom?
Good! I'm able to poop easier, off the pain medications and sticking to the ibuprofen a few times a day instead of every 4 hours, I get to take my incision bandage off today, and I think I even have my feet back from the swelling!! Even the bleeding is minimal, I notice it more when I'm up and pushing myself too much and that's also when I notice my abdomin getting sore.. also we were out for a good chunk of the day yesterday and I got super nauseous/carsick so hopefully that subsides before DH has to go back to work

Rants, I miss sleeping lol DH and I live with my parents, they finished the basement for us to have a safe clean place for us and the babies to sleep and live. Unfortunately their isnt heat downstairs yet (the heater is ordered just waiting for it to come in) so we've been camped out in the living room. I hate that we aren't able to sleep in our own space and get the babies adjusted to where they will be sleeping instead of getting used to sleeping on me in a recliner or DH on the couch...

When I was super young a firefighter. Idk why that changed but since then I've never known what i wanted to do with my life lol I'm pretty happy being a SAHM right now

10 days old. His bilirubin has stayed down so I’m thrilled! He’s also sleeping for a 5 hour stretch every night, which E and C never did, so I’m loving that while it lasts.
2) How are you feeling, Mom?
Pretty good aside from the sore nipples from cluster feeding. Also my bleeding had basically stopped and now it’s started back up again and is kind of heavy so that’s annoying. And my stitches are itching like crazy.

Just annoyed with my older two. I’m over the constant tantrums and fighting.

A mom. I went through phases where I wanted to be a doctor, nurse, teacher, but being a mom was always #1 for me.

Two weeks today! We had her two week check up, she’s one ounce off being back to birthweight.
2) How are you feeling, Mom?
Really good! I went and bought a couple (cheap) pairs of jeans because the maternity pants weren’t cutting it anymore. They’re a size bigger than usual, but I’m so happy to be in real pants!

My MIL is in town. She drives me nuts.

I wanted to be a vet, but people convinced me I wouldn’t want to deal with sick animals, so instead I’m a nurse
1) How old is baby; any milestones or brags this week? 36w gestation, 3w old - as of tomorrow. She's home! Oh it's so exciting!
2) How are you feeling, Mom? I'm so happy she's gone... but man way more tired. I think the hardest part is the pumping/feeding part. Getting up in the middle of the night, and at times just not getting to go back to sleep. Especially with DS deciding 5-6 is a great time to wake up and refusing to snuggle for more time.

A singer. But I don't love singing in front of people and would hate to be watched by the public. So yeah. Good it didn't happen
