I’m pregnant with my first and today, little one is 19 weeks along. I’m 31 with no health issues and no family history of any health problems. I had a quad screen done in the first trimester and all results were negative. And even though the maternal/fetal specialist and my OB said a single echogenic focus in the presence of no other abnormalities is probably normal, my husband is still really worried and upset about the possibility of increased risk of the baby being born with Down’s Syndrome. Has anyone else had this abnormality show up on ultrasound before?
