Numbness after Progesterone Injections

I am 8 weeks tomorrow, and still have 3 more weeks to go of my progesterone/estrogen injections and both butt cheeks are getting really numb and painful.  Some of the numbness is radiating towards my hip/upper thigh area.    Has anyone else experienced this?  Does it go away once the injections stop?  I am really concerned its causing permanent damage.

I am not sure how to delete, but my doctor said that the numbness is not normal and they think the shots are hitting the sciatic nerve.  They stopped them entirely and put me on suppositories instead.  Hopefully that lets it heal!
