I'm with you ladies. I'm getting to the point in this pregnancy that even breathing is uncomfortable. Seems crazy there are 9 weeks left when my body already feels so foreign and stretched to capacity.
A little life update - we received an offer on our house within 24 hours of listing it. Had a home inspection last week, so I'm hoping everything went well there. We are waiting to hear back. Closing date, if all goes well, is October 26th, so we'll still be making the big move to KY when I am bulbous and pregnant, but hopefully we'll have enough time to get settled before she makes her arrival. Sorry I've been so MIA! It's been crazy around here preparing for all this, and DH just returned from of a deployment, thank goodness. Looking forward to things settling down soon.
I wake up at 4 or 5am WIDE AWAKE and ready to start my day. It's weird...I'm run down and physically beat, but mentally I'm not tired. I should sleep, but my brain wants to party.
@mockingjay1 Yes, moving while pregnant is a pretty brutal experience. It's been super fun getting on my hands and knees to scrub floors and baseboards with this big belly. Lol! Glad your move is all finished and you can hopefully relax!
I'm with you ladies on the insomnia issues. I usually wake up about 1 or 2 am and can't go back to sleep. My body is so tired, but my brain just won't shut up. I'm also having sinus issues... so that's fun. My nesting has also been out of control. I feel like I've cleaned everything twice and the house still feels dirty! Crazy hormones!
The fatigue is so real, just like you ladies. I wake up being like, how can I be MORE tired than yesterday?! Already struggling to not lose it at work!
My husband just wrecked my car backing out of a parking space. Thankfully it's only the rear bumper, but it has a huge dent and this sucks.
And we can't get it fixed because we need both cars (with my doctor's appointments and needing to be sure that we have a useable car for the kids in case of an emergency).
Today has been crap from start to finish. My thumb is injured and unusable, I've got a bad upset stomach and now the car.
@MojieJo I just replied in the other thread but holy cow! Sending all the vibes that your day gets better!!

Oh no you need a do-over. Tomorrow will be better.
and I’m with everyone else who keeps waking up at 4am ready for the day. I stay in bed and eventually fall back to sleep, but it is at least 90 minutes wasted each time. In happy news, we also accepted an offer on our home. As long as the couple has proper financing, we will close October 24th. It works out pretty well because our new house should be finished the first week of October, so we will get to slowly move our stuff over. I’m so ready for this all to be behind us!
Heartburn/acid reflux induced insomnia BLOWS! Woke up around 10, finally fell asleep sitting upright on my couch around 1. Woke back up at 2 and moved back to bed just for my alarm to wake me at 3:30 today will be a loooooong day.

I actually went to bed early last night (shortly after 9pm with my alarm set to go off at 610am). I thought I was going to be able to get 8 hours of sleep for the first time in who knows how long. I was up 6 times! WTH body?

I had a great night of sleep on Sunday - only woke up 3 times to pee instead of my usual 6+. Last night was back to normal with hourly trips to the bathroom and feeling like an overturned turtle every time I had to roll over and get out of bed. I hope these babies are comfy in there, because Momma is NOT!
@booksandcoffee Lol! I so needed that chuckle today! It does, indeed, feel like we've all been pregnant for an eternity. Or maybe it's just me who feels that way?
Hi all! Random question-- my mom's close friends are throwing me a little shower this weekend and I would love to get them something. Ideas for a thank you for hostesses?
@eahayes I gave my sister in law a massage gift certificate when she threw my shower for DD. She was the sole hostess so it was easy to give a more expensive item. I gave my bridal shower hostesses each a gift bag of travel-sized BBW trio of lotion, body wash, and spray. There were 4 of them so I had to go a little smaller, but everyone loves BBW so it was a winner.
@eahayes - I got my SILs mani/pedis for hosting my shower with DS. I don't know how many of your mom's friends are throwing it so that could get expensive. If it's quite a bit more people maybe something for each that they would like? Lotion? Candle? Nail polish? Starbucks, target, etc gift card?

I have been thinking about getting a smaller diaper bag (I have a jujube BRB for longer trips like a zoo day, etc) for day to day use when the baby gets here. I love the print on this bag. I've also thought about getting a bag like this that looks less like a diaper bag. Hmmm decisions.
