I lost the page my RE gave me with suggested supplements, but the one thing I remember she told me to definitely take was coq10. I think she had me on something crazy high- I think 600 mg.

Thanks. What is Methyl folate? RE said DHEA and CoQ10 when I asked after seeing it in fb group for ivf over 40. And I am on vitamin D pills since that is low and already taking a prenatal.
Methyl folate is another form of folic acid, but recommended for folks who cannot properly process folic acid but can process folate (typically those with the MTHTR mutations).
You can select pre natal vitamins that have MF instead of folic acid.

Thanks. I didn't have any MTHTR mutations when the doctor checked all that in 2016.
@drewsdarlin I have a few more months before my ivf. I’m taking: vitamin D, multi vitamin, low dose iron (both vitamin D and iron are always low), coq10 (ubiquinol). I will probably start dhea soon as the RE said it is ok to take..

Thanks. I am on vitamin D since 2016 when RE found out it was low and on iron since last year when i had physical and doctor found out i was a little bit anemic. Thank you. What brand coq10 are you taking? Did you get DHEA levels checked first?
@drewsdarlin on amazon, I bought jarrow ubiquinol 200mg and I take it twice a day. Yah both iron and vitamin d levels seem to be not so great in a lot of ladies. I actually just got my dhea checked and waiting on the results before I start taking it bc I’m ocd like that..
Id recommend the book It Starts with the Egg by Rebecca Fett. She talks about supplements, getting rid of toxins in your life (specifically BPA and Phthalates). She does discuss folic acid (very important), vitamins, COQ10, etc.
