@MegEn1 I'm sure there are more prolific crafters than me out there, but I thought maybe a monthly crafting thread might be better? Since some projects are kind of slow, there might not be a lot to update on a weekly basis.

I'm with @k2k2tog I don't think the crafting thread needs to be weekly. I've been working on the same blanket for over a month so... yeah. Haha.
Can someone explain the point of the spreadsheet to me? My last BMB had one, but I don't know why all of our information needs to be consolidated in one place for the entire internet to look at. This is a public forum, after all. I just have a little bit of catfish/stranger danger.
@poshspice I never really understood that either. I don’t think I ended up adding my info last time. I know part of the idea was you could easily see who was due when, boy/girl /team green, etc.. I’m totally fine not doing that, though. One less thing to manage!
The spreadsheet seems only helpful when we got to the point of doing labor buddies and even then, we made up a whole new one for that if I remember correctly.
I noticed a lot of people commenting if you live in the same area etc... In my May 17 board, we did a lot of GTKY threads and that gave items like, where you live, what you do, SO etc... one thread instead of so much information in same threads...Thoughts?

I always thought the spreadsheet was also helpful when trying to figure out who people are or trying to remember who was who
@courtniko I'm not AMA but I definitely saw a good amount in the intros. It seems common enough, I say just start it (maybe choose a slower day with the schedule) and see what level of interest there is. It could just become a monthly or one-time board that gets resurected if it's slow but I think it could be busy enough for weekly.
@zuuls_mom & others - did we land on a day for FTM and STM check-ins? I don't want to clutter up the board on Monday if we're trying to spread it all out.
@kvh22 I'm totally cool with FTM and STM+ check threads! Tues would probably work well since we don't have a lot of dailies for Tues! Totally open to others' suggestions though.

@courtniko yes! I’d love an AMA check in. I’m on the lower end (35, turning 36 in January) but according to my OB my ovaries might as well be 90. It’d be nice to see what everyone else is experiencing seeing as we’re pretty much trying to give birth in adult diapers and using walkers.

Did your OB say it in those words? Yikes. I'm sorry to hear that, though.
@expandcontract No, my midwives are amazing but one of the nurses...goodness! She has a suuuuper sarcastic sense of humor and thankfully, due to being a middle school teacher (it’s like a prerequisite for middle school teachers) I do too. She was the one I got that from. I have thick skin though and when push comes to shove, she’s amazing, so I don’t mind.
A friendly reminder for all newbs, please do not start a thread on a topic that has already been covered in another thread. See below. Otherwise, we will have to start being mean and flame you for it. One of the reasons why we love TB over other forums is because of the organization that we keep. Please and thank you!
For the sake of board organization, here are some simple guidelines for posting threads: DO: -Introduce yourself in the "Introductions" thread -Add yourself to the spreadsheet -Feel free to start one of the weekly posts listed below if you don't see it started yet -Check to see if a thread has already been started on your topic or question so we can avoid too many threads of the same topic -Post a thread that would apply to the entire community and doesn't fall into one of the categories for daily threads listed below (Ex: what to pack in your hospital bag, baby gear, etc) -Comment, share advice and show support for your fellow bumpies; this is a two-way street, to get support, you must show it as well

This is a great sentiment, but those sweet summer children aren't even making it to this thread before they excitedly click "New Post" let alone this far down in the comments.

I was really tempted to throw a bunch more poop gifs at that latest one. I found some really good ones!

Hey, just a heads up for the new people! We've recently had someone post a symptom in an entirely new thread and when she was made aware that it would be best to post it in the symptoms thread, she apparently became offended and DD'd. Don't dirty delete you guys! It's bad bump etiquette. If you're embarrassed or upset over something, just try to learn from it and move on. But don't get angry and DD. That does not look good or go over well!

I had no idea it was even possible to delete a thread. So annoying.

How/where do I add myself to the spreadsheet?
New mommy to be! EDD: 05/27/19 hoping for a girl!!!
@fifth_emperor_of_the_sea We don’t have a spreadsheet for our group yet. Once one is posted, you can add to it. For now, come introduce yourself in the intros thread. Glad you are here!
There used to be a weekly appointments thread when I was here last. Is this something we’d be interested in doing? I personally loved having one place to hear about everyone’s appointments for the week.

Personally, I think we could do it later on when we're going to appointments more frequently. But that's just my opinion. If you want one sooner, i wouldn't mind.
Re: ***READ THIS FIRST*** Board Organization
we can do one, but I’m not super tech savvy so if someone else wants to volunteer that would be amazing! Haha

Should we add the Weekly GTKY for the whole group to Wednesdays? That day looks kind of light for daily threads.
Do any of the AMA mamas want to start that post? Wednesdays are light but whatever day ladies want is good.
