1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 32 weeks, I thought I was 32 weeks last week so that sucks. A squash I think.
2. How are you feeling?
Chiropractor is amazing and I feel a ton better. Now it's mostly hard turning and getting out of bed, but those are signs the end is near!!
3. Any appointments this week?
Friday I go in for an ultrasound, hoping the placenta is out of the way and kid is not breech. He has been doing crazy flips so I have no idea which way he is right now.
4. Rants/ raves/ questions?
Sooooo busy at work (budget season) and if I can survive the next two weeks, I can coast the rest of the time I'm here.
5. GTKY - what are you afraid of? Spiders, clowns, anything atypical Corn mazes lol. Anything in scary movies - I am not a scary movie fan at all!!
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 36, 2-liter soda bottle. Eep.
2. How are you feeling? First day of school today and it just kicked my butt. I’m now exhausted!
3. Any appointments this week? Yesterday. Baby is head down and that was about all in that appointment
4. Rants/ raves/ questions? Too tired to think right now, but probably.
5. GTKY - what are you afraid of? Spiders, clowns, anything atypical? Clowns freak me out. I watched the poltergeist with my dad when I was 10 or so. Had nightmares for a week. Seriously, no clowns.
Hot, tired, super irritable, like the ground hog "6 more weeks of pregnancy"
3. Any appointments this week? None till Monday
4. Rants/ raves/ questions?
Yesterday was my daughters 1st day of preschool. She lasted until about 12 noon before they called my husband to come get her, apparently she came down with a stomach bug. Its always something. Poor girl was so excited for school too.
5. GTKY - what are you afraid of? Spiders, clowns, anything atypical?
Definitely afraid of spiders and honestly any bug or anything that is smallish and flies (bees, butterflies, moths, dragonflies). I'm also afraid of scary movies or anything haunted house-like. I'm a big baby
I'm a day late and a dollar short, lol. @drb2424 - poor thing! do you think she just got the excitement pukes? @tropical1982 - good luck at the ultrasound - i know my doctor said not to even stress about breech presentation until 36 weeks (but i totally get your concern!!)
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 34 weeks, a 5 lb bag of flour
2. How are you feeling? This is the first week where the typical aches and pains have started to affect me, as well as insomnia, so i guess i should consider myself lucky!
3. Any appointments this week? weekly chiro appts, and next week my weekly doc appts start. The chiro is more for maintenance at this point to try to make sure baby stays head down!
4. Rants/ raves/ questions? my two year old has been waking up between 4-5 and coming into our bed the past couple nights. last night he proceeded to kick (lightly) my stomach until morning, while new baby kicked back. This is my future guys. Two kids just constantly kicking me and keeping me awake.
5. GTKY - what are you afraid of? Spiders, clowns, anything atypical? For sure all the "normal" things (failure, something happening to my child, drowning). As far as weird ones, i have always been overly concerned about sink holes. They are just so unpredictable!!
Havent seen this started yet.. 1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 36w Papaya
2. How are you feeling? Everything hurts, baby has a habit of putting his little knee in my belly button, is not pleasant, pelvic pain is getting worse again.
3. Any appointments this week? Had mine yesterday.
4. Rants/ raves/ questions? I guess my question is for STM. Have you been told you're dilated(a small amount) at your 36w appointment and still held out until close or after your due date?
5. GTKY - what are you afraid of? Spiders, clowns, anything atypical? FTM so what I'm currently afraid of is labor. And not remembering things I've learned about taking care of a newborn.
@kaelynrayne i am sure others can speak to this as well, but i know that it is very common to be dilated well before going into labor, even more than a bit.
1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? 34, butternut
2. How are you feeling?
I'm good overall, but definitely have short bursts of energy followed by bursts where I need to rest. Energy level is definitely dipping and starting to be a bit uncomfortable all of the time.
3. Any appointments this week?
Just came from a secondary round of blood work to retest my platelet levels. Dr. wants to see if they keep steady or if they keep dipping.
4. Rants/ raves/ questions?
My rave is that I am no longer assigned to any specific projects at work, and I don't really have any full weeks left until I go fully remote, which is nice. Probably going to start taking remote days here and there as well because commuting is getting really exhausting.
5. GTKY - what are you afraid of? Spiders, clowns, anything atypical?
Everything? I've actually gotten over a few things while being pregnant (like needles) which is good. A fear that's probably weird but I've always had is losing everything and ending up on the street or something. I think it's a reaction to getting into the workforce when the recession hit and people who seemed to have everything just lost it all, but I think about it quite a bit and with LO on the way I'm definitely much more conscious about it.
@kaelynrayne In my personal experience, the 'bloody show' was a better indication than the actual dilation. With my first they checked at 38 weeks, I was 3cm and when she did a very small 'sweep' i bled a ton. That's when they said they didn't think I would make it to my due date. I delivered exactly 1 week later at 39 weeks...
But yes it is quite common to be dilated for weeks before delivery....unfortunately lol.
@kaelynrayne with my first I was dilated 1cm at 36w and 2cm at 37 weeks. At the 37w visit my OB said Ill see you next week unless I see you before then . She was born a few days later at exactly 38weeks. I noticed more discharge that week and was losing my mucus plug for about 5 days before she was born. The morning she was born I had some blood tinged mucus. Every pregnancy is different so its likely you could be dilated and go into labor after your due date or baby could surprise you and come a little early.
jengibre_zorro I thought maybe that was it but then she puked a few more times later that afternoon and she had terrible diarrhea for the past 2 days. She also wasn't acting her normal self but I wasn't sure if that was due to the excitement of something new but today she seems back to her normal perky self Since she only goes 3 days a week she will go back on Monday when we know she has cleared this bug.

Thunder and lightning! I think it’s beautiful but I get really scared during storms especially if I’m outside.
