Hi ladies, I hope you don't mind me joining in on the fun over here. I did join the April BMB, but almost feel like I've played a totally different game than most of the women on that board (except for the PAIF thread). I thought the bitter would be gone once I got pregnant, but I find myself still feeling some type of way when I see the women who stopped their BC and ended up on the board the same month.
My quick background - we did 4 IUIs and finally IVF. Out of 24 eggs from my retrieval in January, we got 1 normal embryo. My doc did 3 ERA cycles so we wouldn't "waste" that embryo and have the best chances possible for good timing, but my biopsies never came back as receptive. So the 4th cycle we finally did the transfer...he adjusted the days and meds and we hoped for the best and it worked! I still need to give that man a hug when I see him.

How are you feeling? Good...the usual - I'm sick and tired.
Any recent / upcoming appointments? My usual weekly appt is tomorrow
Thoughts/Concerns? Just the usual anxiousness between appointments...I keep using my sickness as a reminder that he's in there and growing strong.
Questions:
Any fun Labor Day weekend plans? Actually not much going on. Maybe I should figure something out? I'm just happy to have a long weekend with Monday off!!
@kristimh80 My meals each have some sort of carb in them since that's all that sounds appetizing right now. I'm still trying to get protein/fruits/veggies in where I can but the nausea is real. I'm at the point where I sit with my pills in hand for 30 minutes sometimes because I don't even want to choke down a pill because I just have a lump in my throat. I'm nervous I'm going to start throwing up my estrace
@kristimh80 Healthy haha I think I lived off chicken nuggets from mcdonalds with honey mustard sauce, potato skins and brownies XD And I normally hate junk food!
@50Wife I had the same experience with the birth month boards -- I just felt like I was in a completely different place. It's so nice to be here with folks who understand my feelings and share them. Welcome!! I'm a lurker in all threads hehe My little girl is 5 months now but I still like chatting with everyone!

@50Wife I get what you mean about the birth month boards. At 1st it was kind of annoying, but have found a way to like them now. Mainly, I just chime in here and there. I'm on the March board, so April maybe totally different! Some of the topics are fun. I wish this board was more active like the IF board is, but I figure eventually it will be as more join So usually I end up on the BMB's or IF boards checking in on people since there's a lot more convos going on.
@mbradfo2 Yes!!! I find myself eating things I normally never ate before! I need to throw out all the ice cream i the house. I use to never eat it, but I swears it calls me name all the time now! LOL

@kristimh80 I'll stick with April at least a while longer and see how it goes - right now there's just a lot happening too since it's so new. I'd like to attempt to keep up with it though!
@madasm0530 Good luck at your appt! Can't wait to hear how it goes!!! Did you test any of your embryos? I can't do salads anymore - had one Friday and got sick not long after. I've been making sandwiches for lunch at work - sprouted grain bread (bc in my head it's healthier so it's a good carb lol), veggie cream cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, turkey, and a handful of sprouts. Good and filling and I feel better that I'm getting veggies but still enough carbs to feel full and not sick just looking at it.
@kristimh80 I with this board was more active too. Are all the BFPs from IF moving straight to BMBs?
@50Wife We didn't test any of our embryos. Now that you said cream cheese, all I can think about is a delicious bagel.

@madasm0530 Not sure where they are going honestly! Maybe a good idea to let the currently BFP's know about this board. I'm sure many have no clue and tend to linger on the IF board not sure where to go.

im 10 weeks and 3 days today. I can actually feel the baby moving already it’s craxy. For my first pregnancy I don’t think I felt the moving until second tri. But apparently with hot second baby you can feel it sooner. I have my next appt in a couple of weeks. My first OB appt. going to the lake house this weekend and hoping to do some boating, swimming, bbq’ing and Yoga. Can’t wAit!! We are also telling my family this weekend. Bought my daughter a shirt that says I’m going to be a big sister and will see if anyone notices lol
How are you feeling? Mild nausea on and off but nothing too bad. Occasional head-rush feeling. Exhausted at night.
Any recent / upcoming appointments? u/s tomorrow! Nervous as usual This will be my last appt with my RE office, then on to OB in Sept.
Any fun Labor Day weekend plans? DH and I going up north to cottage country. Fresh air and rest! Should be nice.
Re: healthy eating. Weirdly I am craving vegetables. Lol. I will feed that craving as long as it lasts without guilt! The other night DH and I planned to have burgers. We got all the ingredients, DH fired up the grill, and I got one whiff of burgers grilling and I said NOPE, I do not want to eat that ever ever. So, I turned the toppings into a salad and DH got to have an extra burger. Seems that I'm a bit off meats - at least I don't find them particularly appealing atm.
@madasm0530 Thinking of you today! Hope you have a great ultrasound!!

How are you feeling? Feeling great, no MS still! Some fatigue, slept 10 hours last night. I noticed I'm getting spider veins on my thighs, which I read happens during pregnancy from the increase in blood volume. Also, trying to eat healthy but all I want are carbs!
Any recent / upcoming appointments? I had my first OB appointment last Friday at 9w2d. Saw the baby move and HB was 160. Next OB appointment will be at 14 weeks. I have blood work this Friday and doing genetic screening even though I got pregnant with a PGS normal embryo.
Questions: Anyone still planning on doing extra testing even though you did PGS? Also, anyone using anything for stretch marks already?
Any fun Labor Day weekend plans? Thinking of hitting the beach this weekend! Hope everyone has a fabulous week
@bebesparrow I'm not planning on doing more testing unless my OB next week suggests it. She also did IVF with PGD, so I will just follow whatever she suggests. I'm anxious to know how the OB appts will go. Still doing bloodwork with my RE to wean off meds. Glad your ulreasound went well!!

My FET was on Monday, August 27th, and we transferred two 5-day blasts without CCS/PGS testing. Within 24 hours I had that super full, and tugging feeling in my uterus for two straight days. I have been testing positive on FRERs since 3DP5DT. Which seems crazy to me because my blasts weren't even hatching or anything. First BETA 9/5. I know it's early, but my previous two transfers I felt zero symptoms and nothing happened. And I've been pregnant before, and this is exactly how it feels. So, finger crossed it stays that way.
Me: 36 Husband: 53 (I have one daughter and he has two kids from previous relationships) Husband had a vasectomy reversal, low motility and works overseas, so we moved straight to IVF.
Aug 2017 IVF #1 Menopur, Follistim, Lupron 4R, 4M, 3F, one 5-day blast tested: abnormal
Nov 2017 IVF #2 Menopur, Follistim, Omnitrope 14R, 10M, 9F, six 5-day blasts not tested transferred two: BFN
Jan 2018 FET #1 transferred two: BFN

Baby Girl born 3/26/19
im 10 weeks and 3 days today.
9 weeks / April 2
How are you feeling?
Mild nausea on and off but nothing too bad. Occasional head-rush feeling. Exhausted at night.
Any recent / upcoming appointments?
u/s tomorrow! Nervous as usual
@madasm0530 good luck at your u/s!

How far along are you? / EDD - 10weeks today! EDD 3/27/19
