    Due date:
4/11, I definitely had to look it up because I forgot. I’m gonna say it’s because I’m waiting for the dating scan, but it’s just mom-brain

    Any appointments?
I’ve got an appointment with my primary care doc on Wednesday, and my therapist on Friday. Also, it’s not a medical appointment, but we close on our old house on Friday so no more paying two mortgages!

    Questions?
Does anyone feel better after you’ve thrown up? I never puked with DS and I haven’t puked with this one yet either, but I’m wondering if I’d feel better if I just let it happen.

    How are you feeling?
I’ve had really bad insomnia. I just can’t get my mind to shut off.

What is your our least favorite chore?
Yardwork. Laundry and dishes suck, too, but at least I can do those in A/C. Just adding the heat and humidity and bugs to a chore makes it exponentially more miserable.
  • Options
@wearegroot Yes! Just throw up and get it out of your system.  I always feel better so hopefully you'd be the same! The NP at my RE's office said B6 is supposed to help with nausea.  I tried it, it didn't work and I seriously puked my guts up Friday night when I took B6 instead of my regular nausea medicine. So there's that.  Worth a shot though - it might work better for you if you're not already throwing up.

    Due date: 4/11

Any appointments? Weekly scan tomorrow! Can't wait!!

    Questions?

How are you feeling?  Crappy - still throwing up and just so damn tired.  I'm usually at my worst at night, which sucks when my husband is on night work

What is your our least favorite chore? Folding and putting away laundry.

Thanks for starting @wearegroot.  With my last pregnancy I felt better for about 10 minutes before being nauseated again after puking.  It was a very short time of ok feeling.  For me, it's not like when you're sick and you need that bug or whatever out, haha that bug that making you sick isn't coming out just yet!!  Hopefully it's different for you.
@50Wife Good luck at your scan tomorrow!!!  So exciting!

    Due date: 4/12

Any appointments?  First ultrasound is this Friday.  Fingers crossed there's just one in there haha.

    Questions?

How are you feeling?  Actually pretty good!!  Tired, but no where near as sick as last time, boobs are feeling better.

What is your our least favorite chore?  Washing floors.  My kitchen floor is pretty bad but I just HATE washing floors.  I never feel like mops do a good enough job so I end up doing it by hand and it takes for freaking ever and then someone mucks it up the second it's dry.

    Any appointments?
    Next Tuesday

    Questions?

    How are you feeling?
Blah is my best description. Nausea comes and go, exhaustion is constant, and I have no motivation to do anything

What is your our least favorite chore?
I would say cleaning toiliets but my lovely DH always does it

    Due date: 4/11

Any appointments? I got my first u/s moved up a week because of a scheduling problem, so I’m super excited about that!! 9/10.

Questions? Has anyone told their work? I’m feeling like I need to but I’m very nervous.

How are you feeling? Feeling okay. I was super sick this weekend but have been okay so far today. My mom suggested getting some nausea medication... how would I go about doing that?

What is your our least favorite chore? Hanging up clothes. I love sorting and folding laundry, just not hanging it all up. It’s a pain.
  • Options
@mermaidca you have twins, right? I’m convinced I’ve got more than one in there. I don’t know if it’s “wishful” thinking (because knocking out three kids in two pregnancies is appealing...the idea of two newborns and 3 under the age of two is definitely not appealing). My first scan isn’t until 9/11 and it’s going to drive me crazy not finding out until then. Although I have a friend who didn’t find out she was having twins until her 20 week scan.

Anywho, fingers crossed you have a singleton this time!

Due date: April 10 (I think)

Any appointments? First OBGYN apt since BFP is TOMORROW. I can't wait.

How are you feeling? Not great. Nauseous and ick most of the time. Just want to eat carbs and heavy food. Super sore boobs. Also super tired. I'm exhausted today. I work from home and I'm having a hard time motivating today. Didn't sleep well last night either.

What is your our least favorite chore? Chores right now are hard in general since I don't feel well.

@wearegroot Yes, I have twins.  While the "2 for 1" sounds appealing and it's just an amazing blessing, it was tough.  It was a high risk pregnancy with lots of issues, a long hospital stay for me and a long NICU stay for them.  Not saying that all twin pregnancies end that way because they definitely don't!!  But it is a crazy experience dealing with 2 screaming babies at once!  I can't wait to find out who here is having twins!!!  It's a fun little club to be a part of, I'm just so looking forward to having a free hand!

    Due Date: April 14th

Appointments: Had first U/s last week, monthly appt 9/17 and next u/s 10/2. Can’t come soon enough. I’m so impatient.

How are are you feeling? I feel ok today. Nausea if I don’t eat and in the morning but right now it’s still manageable. I wish I had all the symptoms because I’m feeling like I need a way to make sure this little bean didn’t evaporated into thin air. Any other ladies feel this way? Like I wish I had a window to look into to make sure it’s all still real. Also, concerned that the baby is going to come out a chicken because I’m currently eating my 4th chick fil a meal in a little over a week. Food aversions are so, so real. Nothing sounds good.

Least favorite chore: all of them. Poop patrol for my two pups but luckily hubby will be taking that over for the foreseeable future :)

Any appointments? Not until October, blech.

How are you feeling? Mild-moderately nauseous, exhausted, and little weepy.

What is your our least favorite chore? I also really hate putting laundry away.

@wearegroot, I keep wondering the same thing.  I've ended up hanging out by the toilet a few times, but no actual vomiting yet.  Hoping it stays that way, although the constant nausea is no fun either!

@b9315 , I told my boss last week.  It's an odd relationship though because he's a personal friend more than an employer.  I felt so crappy I figured I should let him know in case it affects my performance or I have to run to the bathroom to puke.

@himolly88 , with you on the carbs and exhaustion.  I just ate leftover pizza (again...) because I didn't feel like cooking.

    Due date: 4/11

    Any appointments?
Just had my first appointment this morning!  It took forever, but I'm feeling much happier with our choice of hospital this time around.  I also got to see and hear baby, which really helps settle my anxiety <3.

    Questions?
    None right now.

    How are you feeling?
Nauseated, exhausted... feeling more positive after my appointment, I'm very impatient/excited to just tell our son and my family so I can stop making excuses for why I feel awful and look so tired, haha.

What is your least favorite chore?
Cat litter.  I actually kind of enjoy folding laundry and sweeping floors, it's almost therapeutic in a way, although I hate when I have thirteen billion loads of laundry to do.  Usually it's my own fault for putting it off .

@mermaidca I'm crashing over here. I had two good follicles ovulate (hey, thanks Femara) so I'm impatiently waiting until Thursday to find out if it's one or two. I also have twin brothers so that upped our odds. (Not totally related but DH is a twin and MIL is a twin as well).

It's like I'm destined to be around twins. All the time!

Hey guys! I'm glad to be a part of week 2:)

    Due date: 4/12

Any appointments? Had first u/s last week and now my RE has sent me on my way to my OB! Actually, I didn't have an OB (just a GYN), so my first apt with my new midwife is 9/7. I can't wait and I hope I like her!

Questions? Is anyone forcing themselves to eat healthy even if certain foods sound terrible? Like, I canNOT eat eggs right now. I gagged washing a pan yesterday that my DH made eggs in. All I want is crap.

How are you feeling? I've had mild nausea for a couple weeks now, and I'm tired. But I'm also feeling quite weepy and a little depressed (I apologize to anyone who already read my rant about my DH on another post!). I'm thinking of finding a therapist. I also just lost my younger sister to breast cancer in May so that, coupled with IVF, has put me on a serious whirlwind. I def think seeing someone would help.

What is your our least favorite chore? @mermaidca (don't know why it isn't tagging you) I'm with you on the floor washing! We have hard wood throughout our house and we picked a bad one because it shows absolutely everything. And I refuse to scrub it on my hands and knees (which I usually do) because well, damnit, I'm just not up to it! So it's dirty because I'm the only one who will clean it.

@mrstmoose we have tons of twins in my family.  Both parents are twins and there are one set of twins in every generation.  No twin has ever had twins but somewhere there are twins in every group on both my parents' sides.  I can't wait to hear how many you have in there!!!

@rennie1108 I'm with you.  I'm the only one who does it so the floors are filthy.  DH has enough sense not to say a word.  I don't even think he notices to be honest.

    Any appointments?
I'm feeling so left out hearing about all your appointments :( First appointment is at 12 weeks, 9/26.  I don't get my first ultrasound until 20 weeks.. how does everyone else get one so dang early??

    Questions?
Is anyone else's doctor making you wait till 12 weeks for first appointment?

    How are you feeling?
Nauseous. Just plain yucky. Especially starting at 5pm

What is your our least favorite chore?
    Cleaning bathrooms and dishes!

@elmich3 I did IVF which is why I had such an early u/s at 6 weeks. That was by my reproductive endocrinologist. She likes to see the results of all of our hard work! And honestly, I just scheduled with a midwife at 9 weeks. She doesn't know I'm only 9 weeks! I just assumed I'd have an u/s but maybe not! I'm also advanced age at 38 so maybe I'll have more? I'm not sure since this is my first!

@elmich3 sorry you have to wait so long!  I'm in Canada and our health care covers them!  It's pretty common to have a dating ultrasound here no matter the circumstance.

@bhoop941 I wish I had a window to look into as well. I have nothing to really go off of which is making me bonkers waiting to find out if things are good

@elmich3 I also am not having an early ultrasound. It's not done in my midwife practice since they are very hands-off which is exactly what I signed up for so I can't complain. I could go to a clinic and get one done through their recommendation but I'm trying to remain positive and be patient without added intervention. There is technically no medical need to get one done if you aren't bleeding or have severe cramping.

    Due date: 4/8

Any appointments? Won't have another one until 9/19 and I'll hopefully get to hear the heartbeat on doppler

    Questions? None at the moment

How are you feeling? Pretty good, I have nausea off and on throughout the day but I haven't thrown up (never did with DD either). Also, bloating is uncomfortable, I constantly feel like a balloon about to pop. I could say insomnia as well but I have sleep stories to put me to sleep, without them I can't get my mind to slow down.

What is your our least favorite chore? Dishes, hands down. I would take any household chore over them.

Any appointments? I have blood work and another ultrasound on Wednesday

Questions? No questions really, just anxious. I was told I couldn't conceive naturally so now that I'm pregnant, I'm paranoid that something is going to go wrong, or my hormones won't be balanced etc.

How are you feeling? I'm not feeling as nauseous or exhausted as the last week, so I dont know if thats a good thing or not. Those are my 2 biggest symptoms.

What is your our least favorite chore? Definitely floors! We have 3 dogs/ 2 cats in our house, so I'm constantly cleaning our floors now that our daughter is crawling everywhere.

    Due date: 4/10

Any appointments? Ultrasound Wednesday! Can’t wait to see my baby bean. DH keeps talking about the “babies” like we’re having twins.

Questions? I’m switching providers because I just got new insurance, and I’m nervous. How did y’all know your doctor is “the one”?

How are you feeling? Weird. Just... weird. I started out at 4-5 weeks with back pain, nausea, the works. Now I’m down to occasional back pain, trouble sleeping at night (but no issue with naps) nausea every once in a while and huge, sore boobs. I’m on a great probiotic/fiberregimen and I know that’s why I’m not nauseous or constipated anymore. Still, not having as many symptoms as I did before makes me worry. I have no real reason to be worried, but I still am. This ultrasound can’t come soon enough.
I am crying every day, though, so there’s that.

What is your least favorite chore? Laundry. I. Hate. Laundry!!! I doubt I’d hate it so much if we owned our own washer and dryer, but we don’t. Having to walk downstairs to our apartment’s laundry room is the worst. Switching from washer to dryer is the worst. Folding. Hanging. It all sucks.

@b9315, I have only told my boss' boss b/c I am a backup at work for lab work & can't do that anymore for obvious reasons. but being that I had to untell my last pregnancy, I've sworn him to secrecy for now. I am holding out to tell anyone else for as long as possible.

    Due date: 4/8

Any appointments? next one is 9/21

Questions? no questions, but being that I sort of introduced myself on an old thread that will likely be buried, I'll re-intro here: I came from the march board. had my first appt last week and my due date was adjusted to april. I had a feeling it would be.

How are you feeling? surprisingly well, after traveling all day?? it might also be the glass of wine I stole at dinner. I had to, girls.  :/

What is your our least favorite chore? definitely, definitely the bathroom. to the point that I absolutely lose my shit on anyone who leaves a mess in there b/c I stretch out cleanings like... for months. (don't judge me.)
  • Options
@batmama31 I completely get you on the bathroom! I am the ONLY person in my household that cleans the bathrooms because my lovely DH refuses to. But yet I feel like he's the one that makes the majority of the mess in there. Then again, he does a lot of the crappy dishes for me so there's the give and take too.

Due date: 4/8, probably going to change since my cycles are long.

    Any appointments? Today! :D

    Questions? None ATM.

How are you feeling? Nauseous with an all-over-the-place appetite. I'm a creature of whim when I feel like eating. I drank three ginger ales the other day. I'm trying not to be too down on myself about burning down my healthy eating habits.

What is your our least favorite chore? Laundry, ohhhmygod it takes forever and it's about to get worse. I had a dream about throwing a basket of laundry out the window, once.

    Due date: 4/9

    Any appointments?
First obgyn appt tomorrow after “graduating” from my fertility specialist. Already had my ultrasound and saw the strong heartbeat so trying to stay positive that everything is on track.

    Questions?
Why do boobs have to get bigger? It’s a struggle when I already hate having such large boobs.

    How are you feeling?
HUGE. And exhausted, everyday when I get home I’m ready for bed by 7

What is your our least favorite chore?
Anything right now because I’m so dang tired.

@thurstober, I haven't had soda in years, but yesterday my DH suggested I drink some since even water hits my stomach hard these days.  I haven't gone out to get any yet, but I may try some ginger ale or sprite to help settle my stomach.  You do what you gotta do!

@hcr0322, right there with you!  I don't have large breasts to begin with, but I was always happy with their size pre-baby.  I'm not looking forward to them exploding into watermelons again when my milk comes in!

Due date:Used to think it was 4/19, now - ?

Any appointments? (X-posted from PGAL, hope that's okay.)

    *TW for uncertainty*

Went in to my appointment today and bean didn't even come close to measuring 5w5d, much less the 6w3d or so I was thinking it might be. Recheck in a week; progesterone draw today and then one next week as well. My doctor was fairly upbeat and said he thinks there's a good chance I'm just behind (I got a very faint BFP 9 days ago after nothing the day before; I've had sort of crazy cycles since my D&C in April), and told me not to worry.

Still, I don't know if he looked at the ultrasound's measurement vs. just the written statement that it was "less than 5w5d": bean was about a third of the size of the 5w5d mark, and even if I got a BFP 8 days after conception (as early as a test can be accurate, according to the internet,) that would only make it about 4w4d, giving it about 1w1d to triple in size. Can that happen? The internet is not telling me how much a bean should grow between weeks 4 and 5.

Trying not to worry, but it's hard. Two MMC in 4 months, 4MC total sounds like it's time for tests, and at 33 I don't feel very young any more. I want a sibling for DD so badly. I also just don't want to go through the whole loss process again. :(

    */TW*

How are you feeling? I didn't have many symptoms with DD. I'm kind of tired, but that could be because I gave up coffee to help me sleep better/help with my pregnancy jitters.

What is your least favorite chore?Vacuuming. Our house is super small so I have to move allll the furniture. Plus, we have a kitchen/living room combo with French doors on either end; we like to throw them open when we can, so our white tile floor (whose idea was that?) gets super dirty super fast. :(

@thurstober I wouldn't feel too guilty, do what makes the nausea feel better. I don't like drinking soda but I caved yesterday and had a sprite to calm my stomach down and it really helped. Just get yourself through the first trimester any way you can.

@TheSouffleGirl hope things go ok and the tests come back with good news. With your cycles being all over the place who knows where you actually are. Sending positive thoughts your way!

@thesoufflegirl It’s definitely possible that everything is fine. I have super wonky cycles and DS measured 13 days behind at his dating ultrasound, and everything turned out fine. I don’t know for sure but they grow so fast at first that I’m sure it’s possible for little one to triple in size quickly. Fingers crossed that everything keeps growing well!

Not sure where else to post this, but I’m out. At my appointment today I found out that I have a blighted ovum. I’m taking misoprostol at home for management and trying to take it easy on myself.
