Beta hcg level now rising more slowly

I’m 14 days post 5 day blastocyst transfer and  Was hoping to get some insight on my own beta levels. First was 355, then 800 2 days later (41 hour doubling time, then 1591 2 days later (48 hour doubling time). I know 48 hours is textbook perfect but I’m freaked out bc it’s a 7 hour increase from my prior doubling time, but I also read it slows as your hcg gets higher??

Re: Beta hcg level now rising more slowly

  • It does get a bit slower between doubling times as your total hcg gets higher -- my beta's doubled initially (at 48 hr or so intervals) but by the time we around 2k (they tested until 5k at which point it's likely they will be able to see something on U/S), it was taking about 2.5 days to double. I think your numbers sound perfectly normal! Congrats

For the record, the beta from my successful FET was around 200s at 8dpt, 500s 10dpt, and then into the 2ks and 5k+.  I also freaked out a bit at the beginning since it didn't double as fast as my first BFP (but that was a m/c in the end) so as long as you are within the appropriate interval for doubling, the speed of doubling or the actual numbers don't matter as much.

Thank you so much!! Since I’m now at 1600, and my “slowing down” of doubling time is just to a normal 48 hours, perhaps I’m fine.
