31+1...This third tri exhaustion is real. The past week I have been so tired that I feel like I could go to bed when I get home from work at 4:30ish. I feel like I’m back in the 1st tri with how exhausted I am. It’s 9:30am and I feel like I can barely keep my eyes open even tho I got decent sleep last night. My back has also started bothering me so that stinks, and the acid reflux is pretty bad most day (thankfully tums seem to help most of the time). Overall, just feeling pregnant and like most of you, trying to figure out how this can last another 9 weeks!
34w2d I felt horrible last night!! Under my shoulder blades felt tense like when I had my gallbladder surgery and they fill you with air. Just uncomfortable, my sciatic into my left butt cheek, my ribs felt beat up. I swear it felt like A and B were each in a side!? And oddly my ankle hurt. I went to bed early to say the least. Woke up to pee a bunch and every time I woke up my fingers/hands felt so swollen making a fist was super intense pain... 4 more weeks Is my mantra right now
33 weeks Super exhausted most of the time, when i remember to take my extra iron supplement i do find that helps a little. Sleep is just so uncomfortable now, toss and turn all night long.
I'm feeling more anxious as we approach the end...I'm so nervous about how quick this delivery could go. Constant dreams of delivering at home alone or in the car...ugh.
32+2 and I just feel miserable over all. I'm not sleeping through the night and I toss and turn. Carpal tunnel and heartburn definitely aren't helping any. My hips are just shot. They ache pretty much all the time. And I'm starting to swell in my hands and ankles regularly. My BP had been borderline but I see the MFM on Monday so we will discuss it then.
@nmadjeski I'm similar. I'll wake up and my wrists are in immense pain. I toss and turn all night, it seems every other night I'm up every two hours in pain and having to pee then I get a decent night.
I went to a couple of stores this morning and got home around lunch time...had to take a two-hour nap to recover. My hips look wider. My pelvis hurts. I'm ready to get this guy out.
30+5 - so incredibly tired and low energy. Everything feels like a huge task right now, and being smoked in isn’t helping that feeling (our province is on fire and our current air quality is basically toxic where I’m at this week - the advisory is to stay indoors altogether). Also feeling huge and finding it harder to move but thankfully not painful for the most part.
exhausted. All the time. No sleeping here, like... ever. Can’t get comfortable at night and back is all out of wack despite 2x/week chiro adjustments. 12 hour work days are the bane of my existence, and my entire house is a construction zone (literally, the whole thing).
on the plus side, I’m still not “over it”, and I’m still so happy to be able to be doing this. I absolutely can’t wait to meet my son.

HORRIBLE!!! my legs at night hurt even with magnesium!!! And I just been dealing with being comfortable being pregnant is a beautiful thing but this last trimester is going by slow.. I think the bigger I get the more uncomfortable I become!
34w tomorrow and like everyone else I feel so tired all the time! Woke up this morning at 6 so hungry, took a bath at 7, fell back asleep around 8 and didnt get out of bed until almost 10. Have been groggy ever since and coffee didn't help. She also keeps hitting into my bladder and pelvis in a way that sends shooting pains into my vagina and makes me have to pee at the same time. Ugh.
Ankles and feet are now regularly swollen so most of my shoes don't fit anymore, and when I walk I can feel the fluid on the top of my left foot jiggle just enough to be annoying. How bizarre. Can't wait for pregnancy to be over and this little baby to be out!
Tired and sore here as well with trouble sleeping. I had a terrible nightmare that the house was on fire last night and woke up at 3am so freaked out I couldn't sleep for 30 minutes. I finally fall asleep and I wake up shortly after with the most painful cramp in my calf, it's still sore! Good thing it's my one day a week to sleep in!
Anyone else getting headaches more frequently? I used to get them all the time pre-pregnancy. I have rarely gotten them while pregnant. I've gotten mild ones almost daily for the last few days.
31+5 and I go from being super hungry to never wanting to eat again. And I have to be super careful about what I eat because of heartburn. And there is just no comfortable sleeping position anymore

@shortstack1030@SawyerRichardson same. I started getting reflux a couple days ago, so know I'm really careful with portion sizes and what I'm eating. I also finish every meal being hungry yet also really full.
Agree with the sleeping positions, I sleep with 4 pillows and a body pillow, and I still can't get comfortable. WAH.
I’m still in the...eat everything I see...stage. But I woke up from my mid-morning nap yesterday choking on stomach acid from the terrible acid reflux so I’ve been trying to be more careful about what I eat. And apparently not laying down for a few hours after I eat.
I over indulged in lobster and steak with a fully loaded backed potatoe, bread and ice cream cake on Friday and had really bad acid reflux and woke up chocking. Had to go sleep on the glider in the nursery to settle it down.

Zantac is your friend! I was taking Tums, but the OB recommended Zantac (up to 300mg per day) so I take 150mg before bed and it has made a world of difference. Plus, it’s not nearly as constipating as Tums.
Also, a wrist brace at night helps we’ll with carpal tunnel and hand/wrist pain.
@sammierose464 I actually called my OB on Thursday because of headaches. I had a lot in my first tri with DS and this pregnancy but never in my third tri. I told her I was having floaters too. I’m hoping it’s sinus/allergy related. She said not to worry if my BP was normal. I hope you can kick yours to the curb soon! Nothing more frustrating than a headache in addition to all our other symptoms!
I could have written many of these before yesterday. Baby dropped yesterday and I am feeling a lot better - still tired and my pelvis hurts if I sit too long (or apparently spend too long in the pool), but I can breathe a bit better and since she’s lower, acid reflux has been better, not gone by any means, but definitely better. My headaches are weather related and usually happen in the spring and fall, so those are coming and going too.
Lower back and ab muscles just feel exerted sometime from sitting or laying in a certain position. So uncomfortable. Almost feels as if I just worked out and the muscles have a slight tired burn, but I assure you I was not exercising lol.
If I get any more calf pain I'm going to go crazy. Woke up again this morning with my calf muscle super tight and starting to cramp. I guess the only positive is it confirms I can still haul my ass out of bed quickly if needed, considering how fast I got up to start walking so it wouldn't go full-blown charlie horse!
@eireyes I'm sorry, your comment made me laugh because I've been there haha. Never seen my pregnant self move so fast as to walk out a cramp before it escalates.
hahaha I do the same thing. As soon as I feel a leg cramp coming I jump out of bed and stretch it. DH laughs because he says I moan and groan typically getting out of bed like it's so hard, but the moment that leg cramp hits I'm out of that bed in an instant!

34w5d My feet have ballooned!! Too much standing on Saturday at the shower and going through things yesterday. I have to adjust my sandals! My fingers still swell at night and feel tight a day.. and I'm really starting to feel miserable.. maybe even slightly stressed? These babies are coming in the next 3 and a half weeks...!!!
Baby dropped last week...it is strange because i never had a point where i knew that definitively with any of the others, but i was carrying this one so high and had a ton of movement one evening and the next morning i realized i looked and felt completely different. we even compared it to a picture from the week before and it is almost bizarre how different it looks. the good news is that breathing is significantly easier, but for some reason my heartburn (which was manageable with Tums before) is completely out of control since then. I have to sit up to sleep and even then wake up choking. Seriously?! why would this not have the opposite effect? but am trying Zantac as of today...
Carpal tunnel seems to be under control again. And a lot of aches and pains are under control. So just a blah, uncomfortable, ready-to-be-done feeling.
@norahkate Z didn’t drop till 20 minutes before he was born, so it’s very weird for me that his one seems to have dropped already. His head was so low at my last scan and I think I pee everytime he moves cause he’s breakdancing directly on my bladder
@norahkate Zantac + a handful of rolaids every day doesn’t work for me anymore so my midwife said I could switch to Prilosec. I would be in tears over heartburn daily and now I only have it when I forget to take Prilosec!
Also super exhausted and sore and uncomfortable... but today I just feel really terrible. Lightheaded, a little nauseous, can't really focus. I'd almost go home from work but honestly, I don't want to drive right now. I don't know what is up, I have been drinking water and ate a decent breakfast/snack already today.
@lest12 this sounds exactly like I felt last week. I would go home. After a long day of hemming and hawing about it, I finally threw in the towel and decided to go home and I was so glad I did because it really helped to lay down and get some rest. I hope you feel better!
feel better @lest12!
31+2
Woke up last night twice with stomach acid in my mouth, not pleasant. This baby has been soooo low all pregnancy. I'm assuming my acid reflux is getting worse since she is gaining weight and just taking up more space? Basically it sucks and I barely got any sleep last night. Also, holy Braxton hicks! I thought they weren't supposed to be painful?!
I find I get worse acid reflux if I don't eat regularly, so I'm trying to have snacks around constantly. I work from home on Mondays, and when I got up this morning, I found that the fella had taken my computer out of my bag, plugged it in, and left a bag of dark chocolate granola bites next to my spot on the couch. Aww, he really does love me.
The nurse who led my baby class at the hospital on Sat recommended wearing soft wrist braces while sleeping during the last 8 weeks or so. She said we get so uncomfortable and move around more while sleeping, and our wrists often end up bent in ways that aggravate the carpal tunnel issues that most women have this late in the game. I haven't had much wrist pain yet (and between photography and photo editing on the computer, I am constantly in bad wrist positions for carpal tunnel), but I unearthed my wrist braces just in case.
My crazy rib pain that I was sure had to have been a fracture last Wednesday eventually died down, for the most part, so I guess it was just muscle after all. Thank goodness! I still don't understand how it escalated so quickly to "omg I'm going to die there's someone stabbing me from the inside please tell me labor isn't any worse than this because I can't take any more" for a full 24 hours, but I'm glad that part is over and I was able to work yesterday! It would have been a realllly expensive day to miss.

Thanks @mamabearcj! I wish I knew what was wrong. It's really hot and humid out today, I think that might have something to do with it.
Worst case scenario I could ask my dad to come pick up and just leave my car here overnight.
