Baby gave me a little scare with some bleeding yesterday so my OB did a scan this morning. Minor SCH which might cause more spotting but is unlikely to hurt anything else. Baby is measuring 11 weeks 1 day exactly and HB was 157.
Here is baby Montgomery, measuring 1 day ahead. Ultrasound tech said we have a good sleeper on our hands as baby was not willing to move for the NT scan. She wasn't able to measure the neck because baby was insistent on staying in one position the whole time. We were able to see all four chambers of the heart, look at the spine and ribs, see the stomach and baby's bladder, as well as watch the umbilical cord pulsate. We were nervous baby wasn't okay at first because our baby didn't move in the first couple minutes. But we did see baby react to some stimulation by the technician. We tried abdominal, vaginal, and abdominal again, but baby simply didn't want to change positions to get a better look at the neck. We are so happy baby is doing well and developing properly, and we decided to start sharing with friends and acquaintances after being reassured baby is fine at the 12 week mark. FX baby stays true to heavy sleeping!
I had another u/s Tuesday. The fertility clinic I went To does one at 6 and another at 8wks before releasing you to OB. Baby measured 8wks and 2days and HR was 169.

Yayayay! 8+3 by dates. 7+6 by US. Could be because I counted LMP at the start of a couple days of spotting before my actual period. But everything looking great regardless. So exciting! Still some nerves that I’m trying to get rid of.
11+1 and babe measuring 10+5. Had a private scan yesterday and it was so neat! He was wiggling all around and loves touching his face. Heart rate in the 150’s💙

My ultrasound at 12 weeks. We were only going to get to hear the heartbeat at that visit, but I was so nervous for the appt. that mine was beating at over 120 bpm and she couldn’t find the babies. Lol. So she wanted me to come back later that day for this ultrasound. Heart rate- 168
12w5d, measuring 13! My creepy baby says hello! I cannot believe the changes since the last US. I had a strong feeling little one was going through a major growth spurt this past week because I had awful round ligament pains, and I was right! Baby went from measuring 4 days behind at the last two sonos to measuring 2 days ahead with a strong heart rate of 165. Finally got to see baby move, doing somersaults and dancing around! Really don’t know how I feel about staring straight into my child’s eye sockets, but oh well. Best US yet!
10 Week 5 Day appointment. Growing right on schedule and heartbeat 179! This was the best ultrasound because we got to see little one kicking and dancing like crazy! A very surreal moment ❤️
First ultrasound and appointment at 11 weeks 4 days! Doc says everything looks good and I was so, so, so happy to see baby and heartbeat! For the first 10 seconds baby was waving at us with hand and arm up by their head, then after that they were kicking their legs the rest of time! Such an incredible experience!
Just a friendly reminder for those posting ultrasounds, you should probably crop or cover up the information at the top... it tends to have your full name and/or hospital location!
Had my NT scan today at 12w4d and everything looks great!! We are at very low risk of any chromosomal issues — such a huge relief!! And baby is measuring long — but Daddy is tall, so I’m not surprised. What was a surprise, however, is that it’s a GIRL!! Was totally convinced otherwise, so time to start thinking up girl names!! 💜
