ultrasound this Wednesday and should be graduating from RE and stopping all meds. Thank goodness!!
Today is my last day of work before vacation. Going down the shore with my family and a bunch of friends. Won’t be telling anyone yet. It’s could get to be a very heavy drinking vacation so planning on getting drinks and just holding on to them. Otherwise people will suspect. Ha!
@Drove2u good luck with the faux drinking. It's always hard when you get to that point in the night when everyone has been drinking all day and you're as sober as a judge. We hung out with friends last weekend in a similar situation and found myself taking alot of deep breaths so I didn't get snippy/crabby with people.
How far along are you? / EDD 5+2 / 4/20
How are you feeling? Nausea really hit me this weekend. I am doing my best not to complain because I remember all the times I eye-rolled people for complaining about pregnancy symptoms given I would have done anything to experience them. Saltines and Sprite/water are my friends.
Any recent / upcoming appointments? US next Wednesday - 8/29
Thoughts/Concerns? My left hip is semi-numb from PIO injections. It sounds like it's fairly common and I probably nicked a nerve. Anyone experiencing anything similar?
Questions: See above.. my concern is also a question
Any fun plans for this week? Not a thing. My work is really picking up and typically does this time of year, so I'm buried in that, which keeps my mind of the fact that my US isn't for another 9 days!

How are you feeling? Pretty good. Still get tired more, but nothing too crazy.
Any recent / upcoming appointments? Friday is my last ultrasound with my RE and I'm kicked out to my OB. It's bittersweet. I really love my RE and the nurses...really wish they could stay with me the whole process!
Thoughts/Concerns? Going to try to focus and get back to my healthy eating habits. Feel like I feel off the wagon last week. All I wanted was cheese and pizza lol
Questions:
Any fun plans for this week? Have training across down on Thursday, so booked a hotel close by for a mini staycation by myself for Wednesday evening. I hate driving in traffic, much-less having to be up at the crack of dawn for it. So figure would be fun "me night".
@madasm0530 The whole area that I do PIO is numb. It doesn't even hurt if I hit nerve anymore. Enjoy it...it's nice not having to feel any thing there
@drove2uCan't believe we are going to be graduating! Also, good look fake drinking with your friends! Guess if out, you can order Virgin drinks and just juice and they really wouldn't know much of difference. Or sneak around and make yourself virgin drinks. If they are tipsy, they'll just assume you are too

Thoughts/Concerns? We will get the results of our MaterniT21 testing this week. I'm not really nervous about the genetic stuff, but super excited to find out gender! Hubby really wants a boy, but I'm ok either way.
Questions: Any tips on dealing with difficult MILs? We are having lunch with her and the step FIL (who I adore) this weekend and plan to tell them the good news then. With our previous pregnancies and losses she was less than supportive and very much made things about her. We would wait longer to tell her, but we are going to be telling all my Ohio family the following weekend and don't want it accidentally leaked to her first.
Any fun plans for this week? Hubby and I decided that this summer is the summer of reliving the 90's lol We have been going to see only bands that we loved in high school. So far we have seen Local H, the Pixies, Weezer, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam and on Friday we are seeing Sponge. I hope baby loves music as much as we do!
@Drove2u ahhh! Have a great time on vacation, and good luck with the fake drinking
@madasm0530 I occasionally had some numbness or swollen areas. It usually went away after a day or 2.
@kristimh80 a "you"night sounds lovely, enjoy it!! You and me both with healthy eating. I feel like I'm great for a couple of days and then we go out somewhere and I eat all the fries. I definitely have a lot less self control than before I was pregnant! Good luck!

Hi ladies, just wanted to pop on here quick and let you know that I will no longer be active on PAIF boards because I will soon no longer be pregnant. Confirmed today that baby stopped growing around 6w4d and the little heart is failing. Super sad this is ending, but this is the furthest we have come in this journey and that in itself is progress. Best of luck to all of you on your journeys ❤️

How are you feeling? Very mild nausea on and off - not too bad at all. The past two days I've had a weird feeling of blood rushing to my head and neck. It feels kind of as if I'd been hanging upside down for a bit. It happens at all times, but especially if I'm moving around a lot. Anyone experienced this?
Any recent / upcoming appointments? u/s next Wed, the last one with RE office and then I move on to OB

Any fun plans for this week? I'm taking the day off on Friday to hang out with one of my best friends and her three kids who will be in town for the weekend. I'm thinking of telling her the news... she had her own struggles with IF and I know she'll be really happy for us.
@drove2u I got into the habit of holding a drink and having DH quickly take sips when no one was looking. So, he basically would end up drinking twice as much lol
@kristimh80 Thanks for taking over the thread! Enjoy your little staycation.

I do have one question; I usually wash my hair 2-3x/week with no greasiness issues but my hair has been SO greasy the past week or so. Anyone else? I read it is likely from the progesterone -- PIO, estrace and natural.

@scikap I get this occasionally, Dr told it me was due to the excess blood my body is pumping now. He didn't really give me any solutions to it, I just moved slower or would stop and take some deep breathes.
@madasm0530 I have the same issue. Even when using dry shampoo it's been getting greasier faster. I found that I'm having to wash every other day now instead of every 3 days.
My MaterniT21 results just came back! All genetic screening was negative (yay!) and we're having a Boy!

How far along are you? 8 weeks 5 days (@kristimh80 - almost transfer date twins! lol)
How are you feeling? Dare I say, feeling pretty good? No nausea or morning sickness at all, which concerned me, but seeing baby wiggle on recent ultrasound laid the anxiety at rest. Boobies are sore, though! I feel some cramping here and there but not as much as last week. My husband is saying I am a little "snappy". Been craving sweets, like maple donuts and fresh fruit.
Any recent / upcoming appointments? I had an ultrasound last Friday at 8w2d. Baby is measuring right on target, and heart rate was 180bpm! Saw the baby move, a precious sight to see. I graduated from my fertility clinic that day! They checked my progesterone and estrogen as well, progesterone was 39 and estrogen was 787 so my RE told me to stop PIO and continue vaginal progesterone twice a day for one more week and one pill of estrogen for another week as well. I'm off all meds this Friday! Also have my first appointment with my regular OB doc on Friday, which will put me at 9w2d. I can't wait until the first trimester is over so I can breathe a sigh of relief!
Questions:
Anyone start working out? I started doing mild exercises like walking on treadmill and light weights.
Any fun plans for this week? Husband and I are going to the drive in and going to catch a movie on Friday. Pretty fun stuff, haha.
@bebesparrow So close! lol So lucky...I can't wait to stop all these meds, even thought it will be weird not having to take anything. My last appt is Friday, then I'll be released as well. Good your OB was able to get you in so fast! I'm hoping mine will. I tried making an appt with them last week, but was told to call back when I was released. As for exercising, I try to make sure I walk / get my steps in daily. My doctor told me it was fine to do whatever as long as I could talk and usual when doing activities. So I haven't been as restricted. I'm like you...no MS and feel pretty good.

@kristimh80 I’ll be stopping tomorrow. My last RE appt. apparently you don’t need progesterone after the 9th week because the placenta takes over. So I know I’ll be stopping PIO. not sure about estrace and baby aspirin. We’re going on vacation tomorrow so I’m so happy I don’t have to carry the injections with me.
@kristimh80 my RE basically asked how much much I had left at 9 weeks and said to just finish it and that they’d have me just finish whatever i had even if it was only a few days. I was on 3 suppositories a day so at 10 weeks I went down to 2 a day and then at 11 I went down to 1 so I was off at 12 weeks. I did have spotting my 11th week so I’m still unsure if it was related.

Couple of questions today. First one is probably gross/tmi, sorry. Any one else having clear, sticky like discharge? I have been having some for the past week when I wipe. No itchiness or odors. Just wondering if this is normal? I plan to ask the dr. next week but thought I'd check here. Second, does anyone else have a number of weeks they specifically want to hit, where you think you'll be less worrisome or crazy? Lol For me it's 24 weeks. I just want to reach viability and I think I can be a little less worried about everything.

Re: 1st Trimester Check-in week of August 20th
Im 9 weeks and a few days. Lost count. Haha
ultrasound this Wednesday and should be graduating from RE and stopping all meds.
Ha!

Thoughts/Concerns?
We will get the results of our MaterniT21 testing this week. I'm not really nervous about the genetic stuff, but super excited to find out gender! Hubby really wants a boy, but I'm ok either way.
Questions:
Any tips on dealing with difficult MILs?
Good luck!

Very mild nausea on and off - not too bad at all.
The past two days I've had a weird feeling of blood rushing to my head and neck. It feels kind of as if I'd been hanging upside down for a bit. It happens at all times, but especially if I'm moving around a lot. Anyone experienced this?

@drove2u I got into the habit of holding a drink and having DH quickly take sips when no one was looking. So, he basically would end up drinking twice as much lol

Back for # 2!
@bebesparrow glad to hear your u/s went great. I've been doing either elliptical or yoga most days.

@halips I do notice more energy too when I'm active, rather than sedentary or lounging around the house. I just need the motivation to keep going. Congrats on the genetic screening! Yay for boys
@kristimh80 Initially when I called my OB, she was booked solid for two weeks but since I've been her patient for 6 years, I think she did squeeze me in. Feel so lucky!

Even if it's 10 weeks, I'm sure he wouldn't mind refilling and letting you go to 12 weeks for peace of mind. I stopped my PIO around my first OB appt so I would have scan to reassure me
