Bleeding 21 dpo

Hi everyone, I’m not sure if this post is against the rules, and I’m sorry if it is. I have starting bleeding today at 21 dpo. I got my BFP last Monday at 14DPO. I’m am freaking out a little bit and I think maybe I’ve miscarried. I haven’t been able to see my doctor yet because they won’t see me until I’m 7 weeks. Any input and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi @emilya8907, I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this! Even if your OB won’t set up an appt before 7 weeks I’m sure they’d talk you through what might be happening over the phone and provide advice. I’d call them ASAP.

And don’t worry about posting this in it’s own thread.

@emilya8907 I agree. Call your doctor's office and tell them exactly what's happening. This is a special circumstance. If they won't see you they should be able to tell you what you should do.

Please call your doctor right away. Spotting and cramping are normal, but bleeding always warrants at minimum a phone call. Good luck to you

Update: The doctor squeezed me in today. Ran blood work. No ultrasound. He said it was too early to see anything. Said it is most likely a chemical pregnancy. Levels should be in tomorrow and we’ll go from there. He said my cervix was still closed though. Thank you all for your support.

The blood work came back. Hcg level is 73 which is low. Definitely a miscarriage. Have to go have levels redone in a week just to make sure they make it back down.
