Ok experienced STM+ Mommas... What do I need to know about while pregnant / after having my second kid? The other thread inspired me to learn more about what might be different this time around....
@lyse01 - most OB's will have toys and such for kids to do. If possible, find someone to watch them for a bit, but it's not the end of the world if you take them either!
I usually found someone to watch DD when I was going to appointments for DS. She was 9-18 months old during the pregnancy, so there was no way she was going to keep herself occupied.
It’s a bit early, but I’ll also add this: a friend also had her first two 18 months apart so when her first was brought into the room after she gave birth to her second, she purposely was not holding the baby. She did not want to start off with the baby supplanting her 18 month old and being a source of jealousy. I did the same thing with my first two and plan on doing it with this one.
