I'll admit I started this selfishly. Trying to keep myself positive this pregnancy. I have depression and anxiety, and a history of PPD, so I'm trying to keep myself from thinking about all the negatives.
This week, I'm most thankful for my best friend who has put up with my obsessive self while TTC and was the first person I told after my BFP! I probably would've cracked and called my husband if I hadn't told my best friend first, haha.
@kangstadt I suffered from PPA with my DD, I know how hard it is to stay positive. I’m having a little anxiety myself. Are you going to do anything special to tell your DH? I woke mine up at 2:30AM this time when I found out, I was too excited.
This week I feel like I have a lot to be thankful for...especially my DH and DD. I don’t want to go into details but this week has been emotionally difficult.
This week I'm thankful for.....all my fam. My DH who let me rest during a migraine and took our son outside while he busted ass to build a patio, my MIL who is planning a girls trip for her and all her daughters/DILs, my parents who are just wonderful people and taking in a sweet foster pup this week. I'm just REAL sentimental today.
As cliche as it sounds... I'm thankful for this baby. As scared, anxious, and nervous as I am, this is hope. So bring on the ickiness, bring on the exhaustion, because hopefully this will be my rainbow baby that I can hold in my arms next Spring and say "We made it!"
Thankful that we found out super early that my husband is deploying in June. We were going to wait just a little longer to start trying, but then he would've missed the birth so we started trying right away, so thankful he'll be here! (We both missed our DS's birth bc of an emergency c section
@gollygeeitsamy, I have MH a family size bag of peanut m&ms, then a card that said "Just so we're clear, this is all your fault... And if I'm gonna get fat, then so are you!" With a picture of the positive test inside, haha. You could say we're a goofy couple . Hugs for the week, hope it looks up for you.
@MRDCle, sounds like an awesome girls weekend! And we totally have excuses to be sentimental now, right?
@BarefootContessa, hugs! I remember feeling attached to my DS before I even saw him on an ultrasound. It's such a special feeling, healthy and happy pregnancies for all of us I hope!
@jt0707, sounds like perfect timing then! I can't imagine going through labor without my husband. How old is your son?
@kangstadt I love that idea! I was thinking about bringing in a box of donuts for my coworkers that had a similar phrase like "eat up, my mom can't be the only one with a belly".
I'm really thankful I'm pregnant. I mean I'm thankful for lots of things but I'm just really thankful to have this opportunity to complete my family. As hard as it may be at times.
I'm thankful I am pregnant again! Been trying since March and finally bought an ovulation test and bam! This is our second baby! We have a 2 1/2 year old baby girl! Now she's going to be a big sister! edd 4/6/19
I'm thankful for a husband that has cooked dinner 3 nights this week.11 hour shifts and first trimester exhaustion are a beast. Now pardon me while I go to bed at 8pm.
