I’m feeling the weight of the world like crazy right now. Pregnant with number 2- my other is 4. I started a salon with a friend and colleague of mine last year. She is unable to have kids due to age, health and her partners inability to have kids. She is so angry and frustrated about my pregnancy and it’s killing me. Anyone have words of wisdom? My heart is so broken and confused when I just want to be happy.

When becoming business partners with a friend, you (should) have decided that the business is more important than personal matters. Your livelihoods need to come first. If she needs to take a step back to deal with her emotions then so be it, but she needs to at least remain professional. That said, try not to rub her nose in it, so to speak. Try to be discrete and allow her time to come to terms with it and try to give her the courtesy of not talking about it 24/7, as excited as you are. It's a delicate situation and hopefully with time she will deal with it. If she can't then perhaps you need to find a new partner.

@maggyme - I don't think she's asking for your opinion on running a business with a friend. She's asking how to handle a friend's hurt about not being able to have children. The very black and white "find a new partner" advice doesn't exactly help. Do you have first hand splitting a business? It doesn't seem like she wants to dissolve the partnership.
@galactickates why don’t you take your own advice? @meggyme wasn’t asking for your opinion. Stop being so mean. She was trying to be helpful. Also, she did give advice on how to handle a sensitive friend soooooooo........🤷🏻♀️
