 Symptoms? Headaches and constipation, nothing too exciting!

 Upcoming appointments? Not for two more weeks. After the constant monitoring of IVF it feels weird to go so long between appointments!

 R/R/Q: We’ve been touring daycares and trying to figure out how our budget is going to work...we definitely need to cut back on a lot of non-essentials! I’ve also started reading some newborn care books because I really don’t know that much about babies. Trying not to feel totally overwhelmed!

 GTKY: What is one trait you hope your child will inherit from you or SO--physically/personality/other?: Intellectual curiosity is a big one. We both love learning: reading, going to museums, etc. I definitely hope LO feels the same way! (I’ll be especially sad if they don’t like reading since I’m a librarian!)

His musical and physical abilities and my way of seeing life/perspective, which I get from my dad. 

Augusta108 ooh touring daycares! I need to get on that, especially since we are in NYC and it fills up fast. How did you start- just calling? We have two home daycares near us I'm interested in and need to get going. Good for you!

@greenhillgirl, I did a lot of online research and then sent out some emails with basic questions to get things rolling. (One of which got me a call from an “admissions counselor” in under 20 minutes, yikes.)  We were hoping to get some home daycare recommendations from friends but nobody really had any leads for us, so we’re mainly looking at centers, which are unfortunately super expensive. At least my mom is in town and is willing to help out part of the time!

It does feel a little silly to be touring schools on behalf of my 16 week fetus, but we’ve heard repeatedly that around now is really the time to be thinking about this. One place I contacted had a waitlist of over a year for infant care!

Lots of aches and pains, especially in my pelvic area lately. Whenever I roll over in bed so that has been fun.
Upcoming appointments?
Just had an appointment on Monday. Next one is scheduled for August 20.
R/R/Q:
SO recently when I sneeze or cough hard, I can feel it low in my abdomen - like a tugging feeling- anyone else had that?
GTKY:  What is one trait you hope your child will inherit from you or SO-- physically/personality/other? 
Me and DH are both really mellow go with the flow types - And we both have much more high strung siblings.  Hope that baby takes after us and not their Aunt and Uncle! (not that we don't love them :-P )

@Rachel2066, yes, I get a “stretching” feeling when sneezing too! Especially if I’m lying down.
