    1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?

10 weeks (yay, double digits!!) Strawberry

    2. How are you feeling?

Exhausted, so much so that I took yesterday off just to lie around at home and eat all the snacks! Nausea still popping up and I'm noticing increased breast sensitivity which may be due to DD-12 months BFing all. effing. night. long. Additionally: mood swings!

    3. Any appointments this week?

My first appt was supposed to be today to meet my NP and see LO on US, but  due to a time-conflict with work, I had to reschedule and their first availability isn't until Aug. 6th! I could die!

    4. Rants/ raves/ questions?

Rant: I can't see LO until Aug. 6th :( My 1st tri symptoms peaked in week 10 with DS and DD and it appears to be no different for this LO.

    5. GTKY: What is your clutch/go-to dinner meal?

Spaghetti with ground beef, salad and bread. I definitely keep a jar of pre-made sauce on hand at all times, and I usually jazz it up with a can of tomato paste, seasoned salt, garlic salt, pepper and sugar. We also prefer the thin spaghetti pasta to the regular kind.

Edited to update that LO is the size of a strawberry, not a raspberry

    1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? - 10 weeks, strawberry!

    2. How are you feeling? - So gross. Constant nausea, some mild back pain and fatigue.

    3. Any appointments this week? - Nope, no appts until my US 8.8.

    4. Rants/ raves/ questions? - I am so done with the first trimester. I just want to feel like myself again.

    5. GTKY: What is your clutch/go-to dinner meal? Feel free to share recipes  - Oven roasted veggies with baked cod (or salmon, whatever fish I have on hand). I’m a big fan of winging it and using whatever’s in the fridge, so it always turns out a little different depending on what veggies or fish I have. Usually it goes something like this: chopped onions, carrots, potato, sweet potato, apple & tomato with a drizzle of olive oil and salt, cover with tin foil and bake for one hour. 35-40 min in, place fish fillets on top of veggies and bake for the remaining time (still covered with foil).

  • 1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?

    12 weeks exactly!

    2. How are you feeling?

Relief!! I had my 12 wk appt this morning and I can’t believe how big the baby is since 4 weeks ago. Also was hilarious to see how active baby was!! Kept moving around! Feeling very thankful. HB 160!

It is very funny how my symptoms are varying by day. Sometimes great, sometimes not! But overall very mild. I’ve been very lucky.

    3. Any appointments this week?

    See above

    4. Rants/ raves/ questions?

Feeling much less anxious today. I had a great US tech and she really made the whole experience fun and put my mind at ease. Baby wasn’t in the right position for the neck scan so we got to spend more time looking at the baby swimming and jumping around LOL! It was moving so much!

    5. GTKY: What is your clutch/go-to dinner meal? Feel free to share recipes

All I like eating lately is pasta & pizza!

  • 1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby? I am 10 weeks like alot of you ladies :)

    2. How are you feeling? Constant nausea continues, really hoping for some relief soon so I can enjoy August much more than July!

    3. Any appointments this week? I have an OB appointment tomorrow, but not sure if I will get an u/s or not. Going to push for one to monitoring the SCH and vanishing twin. Also terrified they will try to use the doppler and won't be able to find the HB since I have a retroverted uterus and I have read its alot harder to find the HB this early then.

    4. Rants/ raves/ questions? Excited to get to double digit weeks! I can't believe technically we are 25% done! I know the first four weeks don't really count, but since I did IVF/FET, those first four weeks were full of appts, u/s, shots and transfer for us, so I def feel like I have been pregnant for 10 weeks!

    5. GTKY: What is your clutch/go-to dinner meal? Feel free to share recipes. I like to buy the pesto from Costco and make pesto pasta with rotini or rigatoni and add in cherry tomatos and feta cheese. Pretty quick and not much prep or cleaning!

  • Oops, I forgot to post yesterday!

    1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?

12 weeks! Whoo hoo! A plum!

    2. How are you feeling?

Great overall! Lower back is still tight and hurts when I'm on my back or bending over.

    3. Any appointments this week?

    Not til August 6.

    4. Rants/ raves/ questions?

Excited to almost be out of the first trimester and to start sharing the news!!

    5. GTKY: What is your clutch/go-to dinner meal?

I have two main ones I've been using lately, I'll get zoodles from Trader Joe's and throw in pesto and chicken sausage, or there's this recipe called crack slaw (not sure why it's called that - maybe because it's addicting? Lol) but here's the recipe:

    Ingredients
    Instructions
    1. Start by heating your sesame seed oil in a large wok and crushing 2 garlic cloves into it. Cook until fragrant.
    2. Add in a pound of ground beef and break up with a wooden spoon.
    3. Once your ground beef is browned, about 5-10 minutes, add in your cole slaw salad mix and toss to combine.
    4. Add in sriracha, soy sauce and vinegar and toss. Let this cook for about 5 minutes for the cole slaw mix to wilt.
    5. Season with salt, pepper and sesame seeds. Serve with a sprinkle of green onion and enjoy!
  • Day late, sorry!

    1. How many weeks are you? What size is baby?

11 weeks, a lime. That feels like quite a jump from strawberry last week.

    2. How are you feeling?

Pretty good. I'm definitely not as tired as I was and it's a huge relief.

    3. Any appointments this week?

    Not this week, sadly.

    4. Rants/ raves/ questions?

    Nothing for today.

    5. GTKY: What is your clutch/go-to dinner meal? Feel free to share recipes

DH has been doing all the cooking lately so I'm 100% blanking :D Last night we made pizza. We make dough and sauce for a few at a time and freeze it so it's actually a pretty fast meal.
