SCH Support thread?

I wanted to poll the crowd and see how many others are dealing with a subchorionic hemorrhage (SCH).  This is pretty much consuming my thoughts these days so I thought if there was interest maybe I could start a weekly check-in thread.  Thoughts?

Re: SCH Support thread?

  • I think that’s a great idea if there are enough of us. I feel like there are at least a few!! It’s all I think about too. I’m so anxious for my next appointment to see if it’s shrunk at all.

It's all I can think about!  Maybe if we were able to share out experiences and feelings on it that would help!

  • I'm in - I have my next appointment Wednesday and have no idea what mine has done this time.

  • I'm in, three more weeks before I can have another look at it (and the baby obviously) and I am stressing myself out. On the bright side the spotting appears to have stopped.
  • I have a "tiny" (Dr.'s words) one. I have an ultrasound tomorrow, so hopefully  I'll see how it's doing.
  • Since I’m in this club again, I’m in. I still have another 3 weeks before I’ll see anything again and of course all I keep thinking about is the possibility of it growing. Doesn’t help that I have a 25lb 1yo that I have to lift on a daily basis.

I have a " larger than normal" sch and would love a group like this if you continue and will have me   :)
  • @gorgeousariel of course! Mine is classified as large (4.4 x 2.9 cm) as of Wednesday. I don’t go back until August 10, so we have a long time to wait nervously.

@PurplePoppy424 I also have a gigantic first born (27 lb 18 month old)! My doctor wasn’t worried about me carrying him, but I’ve been careful to lift with my legs.

I think my biggest thing now is trying to keep my stress low with the knowledge that there’s literally nothing I can do. We had already told a lot of people about this baby, so we had a ton of people to turn to for support when the bleeding started. That was huge for us.
  • @gorgeousariel you are more than welcome!

I'm going to start a thread today and please let me know if you like the questions, want anything added or changed, etc.!
