Hello ladies! i’m 4 weeks plus + 5 and the last couple days ive been waking up with mouth sensitivities, from bleeding gums to dry mouth and some very minor bumps. Has anyone else experienced this in the first trimester? Thanks on advance!
Yes, this is because progesterone increases to prevent the new DNA from being treated like a foreign body. This causes the immunity of the body to drop. So existing bacteria in the mouth multiply. This is a normal development in a healthy pregnancy.
