Such a happy little baby! C turned 3 months on the 7th and has now rolled over for the first time, finally taken a bottle for the first time, started giggling, accepted a pacifier for the first time...it’s been a big couple of weeks!
She was being a ham in her play gym. She loves pushing against things with her legs and pushing herself across the floor using her legs while lying on her back
We've got a rollie-pollie over here. CONSTANTLY talking and singing me the songs of her people at 3 am. On. Cue. Every. Night.
All smiles! I think she's starting to cut teeth though. Been running a low grade fever, a bit more fussy than the usual and puts everything in her mouth, including my hands. She loves to chomp on my fingers. We've given her teeth toys and she LOVES them. But still don't feel or see any popping through completely.
Yesterday, Maeve turned 16 weeks (and it was one year since we found out I was pregnant with her). She’s fairly stubborn but very happy. I can’t believe how fast it’s all going. The days are long sometimes but it’s really all so quick.
@shoretobe I love how you can already tell she has stubborn streak. @fatstagnation grass is usually a texture babies don’t like at first. That’s pretty cool.
Luna turned 4 months old today. We had bought so much newborn and 0-3 (new and secondhand) that tomorrow will be the first day we’ll need to recycle her onesies (use it a second time) but she’s starting to grow out of 0-3. Also, changing her to size 2 diapers today also. She’s growing so fast. Has her 4 month pediatric visit on Wednesday so we’ll know just how much she’s grown.
DDRRT1982 Mom's friends have commented that babies either love grass or hate it. I put her toes in it first and she started reaching for it so I laid her over my leg and she was fascinated.
maelily15 my mom got bags of baby clothes at a church rummage sale and then a "garage sale" of someone who owned a baby second hand store. There are lots of adorable things that Vinny only wore once before she outgrew them! And some of the used stuff we later saw on the rack at Kohls and Target!
@fatstagnation, do you mean your exact used stuff or a new version of it? I got multiple tubs of used stuff for cheap and washed it all before she was born- a lot of one tub was brand new when I put it in the washing machine. Some of her newborn stuff never got worn. DD1 was a big baby so most everyone who bought us new stuff for DD2 bought bigger sizes (6-9 or higher).
The exact same outfit she was wearing 'used' was still on the rack at stores. probably someone received a gift the wrong size and couldn't return it, I guess.
Re: HDBD-7/18
This chunk is killing my arms, almost 16 lbs at his 4 month visit!
