16w3d, baby is the size of an avocado! Mmmm avocado. I could go for some guacamole.

How are you feeling this week? Any new symptoms?

I feel pretty good. Just tired still, and my neck is bothering me but that's not a pregnancy symptom.

Rants: I have to be out in the hot humid weather today and I am not looking forward to it. My MIL is taking the grandkids and invited me to go along since DS is going too. It will be nice to see how he is on rides and stuff though. And also... dippin' dots!

GTKY: If you don't know the sex yet, how will you reveal (if you do)? If you do know the sex yet, but family and friends don't, will you do a reveal?

We are finding out on Thursday! We had an ultrasound last week to find out and I gave the envelope to my cousin. She ordered some silly string and we are doing a reveal on Thursday at MILs house. DH will get pizza for us all for dinner, we will do the reveal, and then have cake that my brother's gf is making.

How are you feeling this week? Any new symptoms? Not horrible, some nausea still, stemmed by gagging at things. Headaches are the worst right now. RLP as always. Heartburn. Stuffy nose in the mornings.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Raves: The double stroller I wanted on which was on my registry list was available for Amazon Prime Days and my grandmother offered to buy it for us! So sweet! It's normally $220, but it was on sale for $95! I also bought the Hap Time backpack diaper bag on sale too! It was normally $46 but I got it for $27! So glad I was able to benefit some from the sale. I had really wanted to get the baby monitor during the sale, but all of them were claimed before DH and I decided to go for it. We are thinking of waiting until Cyber Monday to see if we can catch a good deal on them. 

GTKY: If you don't know the sex yet, how will you reveal (if you do)? If you do know the sex yet, but family and friends don't, will you do a reveal? Our anatomy scan is August 16th. (which is actually my son's 2nd birthday!). We are throwing him a 2 year party for family that Saturday (the 18th I think). We are going to do a reveal that day! We will not know the sex either, I will see about my doctor writing it down in an envelope. I haven't decided how we will reveal. I am thinking the black balloon deal, or maybe even a pinata. Or maybe just a big 'ol cake with the strip of icing in the middle. I'll decide by then. I am excited to do it at the same time as DS 2nd birthday (he won't mind I am sure). The thought of throwing a whole nother party for it stresses me out, so I won't be doing that. lol. So I am glad the timing worked out!

I am feeling pretty good. I’m still having some back pain, but the headaches seem to be getting much better!

Now that we moved DS into his big boy room and the nursery is empty, it’s really hitting me that we will have 2 kiddos soon!

@katy0990 Aw two is great. My son turned two just two weeks before I had my second son. It was so crazy seeing him in a full size bed. Wanted to save on transition so put him in a big boy bed. Still seemed like a baby. 

Whitmore1027 everyone has two year olds! Your kids will be the best of buds. My children are super close being two years apart I can't imagine it any other way. Kudos to your grandma! Double strollers are great!

@AdorkablePixie reveals are fun! We never did one but this one we knew right away since we did IVF and they could already tell at my NT scan.

Rants/Raves/Questions?  Yesterday I cooked a spaghetti squash for dinner and it had some sort of sprout thing growing out the center. The sight of it made me want to throw up. Made me husband get rid of it. So then I ate pasta noodles lol. I want to scheduled my A/S!! But have to wait another week and a half to get the stupid slip.

GTKY: What are your go to lunch ideas?  Tuna salad or some sort of bad food for me with a ton of carbs.

@mcgeeva I was so excited to cuddle with him during his book and prayers at bed time. Then when I looked at him in his big twin bed from the doorway, I got teary  because he looked so big! Then, I sobbed to MH about how I can’t believe that it feels like we just built the crib and now it’s empty and he was like, “well the baby will be here in a few months?” I felt so dumb for crying!

@mcgeeva That's nice! At my NT scan with DS we could tell he was obviously a boy, but we couldn't at the NT scan with this one.
