I got in 3 full classes and going back this morning. It’s tough but I’m trying to force myself to go more regularly since I’ve been so down. You know, exercise and endorphins and happy people not killing their husbands and all...
Got in a cardio strength class, spin, bootcamp, and running today.
@megpants209 thanks for starting this! I meant to when no one else had and then the day got away from me.
I’ve been trying to get more runs in, but the week got away from me. The MS has all but gone away in the morning and early afternoons, but come back with a vengeance late afternoon/early evening when I usually go for my run. That aside, when I have gone down for a run (Monday, Tuesday, Friday!), I’ve had more energy and been able to get through a pre-pregnancy distance, just at a slightly slower speed. Trying to keep this up!
Scaled CrossFit back to 4 days but hoping to get back to 5. Definitely giving myself more time to catch my breath and focusing on form rather than weight. I feel so much better on the days I work out. Keep it up ladies, we can do it!
I take Pure Barre classes, pre-pregnancy 3-5 times a week and I throw a little yoga in occasionally. Lately I've been lucky if I made it to 2 classes a week though. I haven't had to modify anything yet, but I know it's coming soon.
Prior to being pregnant I was running and/or strength training 6x per week. This past week I rested because I was fearful I was having overtraining symptoms combined with 1st trimester yuckiness. I plan to start back Monday with 2 days of running and 4 days of HIIT. It’s weird knowing moving/exercise makes you feel better, but not feeling like moving to get started. Exhaustion has also been my #1 depilating symptom during the 1st trimester.
I got one workout in this week lol. This week seemed to be the peak of my nausea and I felt like crap! Today I still didn’t feel great but s little better, so I lifted some weights and stretched. Hopefully next week will be better!
I worked out 4 times this week and damn proud. I am not doing any jumping however and am keeping everything low-impact. I don’t care if the 70-year olds are lapping me. Telling myself something is better than nothing.
I used to play roller hockey twice a week but was scolded by my family and doctor when I was still playing a few weeks into the pregnancyx so have had to give that up ;( I was able to get a few gym sessions in during week 5 but the sickness kicked in week 6 and I cannot find the energy or time when I dont have a gross stomach to get myself there... any ideas on calmer workouts i can do at home?
Absolutely! This is how I look at it on days like today where I’m not really feeling it. I actually have a sticker chart and sometimes I do my set “minimum” to get my sticker. Cheesy but it works for me
I was able to workout through week five. I’ve been very sick since the beginning of week 6 and miss my workouts! Even a super beginner yoga class was an extreme struggle for me. Hoping it’s better soon
