@BourbonBiscuits my DS’s birthday is 2/14 and I said the same exact thing that I would be ok if we didn’t get pregnant in May but apparently that’s the only time I’m fertile! And yeah Valentine’s Day doesn’t exist for us on that day but it is kind of nice because my parents always come to visit for his bday so we get a night out to ourselves around then. And this one is due 2/5 so we will see how close they will be lol

So annoyed right now. We've been planning to go to see Texas A&M play Clemson at College Station ever since A&M joined the SEC, about 6 years ago.  That is supposed to happen this September.  
We usually go to South Carolina every Christmas to visit my in-laws, but can't this year because it's too close to my due date.  When we told my MIL, she got pretty upset (DH is the favorite).  Now DH is saying he wants to go to SC in October for the state fair AND November for Thanksgiving, and not go to Texas at all.
Sooo am off to be upset?  I get he wants to spend time with his family, but we've been planning this trip for years.  I told him we can spend 10 days there during Thanksgiving instead of two separate 4 day trips, somehow two short trips a month apart makes more sense to him. Thanks for letting me vent

Ugh, @kayjay44 that's the type of shit that makes me happy about our decision to not tell my MIL yet. Not sure what our plan is, but I'd like to put it off as long as possible.

@ginger1228 - IDFK, she's off her rocker. Not being able to drink with her around should be classified as torture. She also asked if my STD tests came back negative. I don't even know what to do anymore.

We're telling the families tomorrow and Sunday. Should be interesting since my dad called yesterday to offer to pay for DD 1st bday in Aug, because 'it's too expensive for you'... um, it's a bbq at home, and we're fine. So I'm sure he'll have something to say about a 2nd kid, and the fact that we're selling our condo to buy a house. Goes up for sale this week.

Good luck @smallbutmighty77!! My mom is like that too - when we were TTC my mom kept telling me how our son would be such a great only child - but she was surprisingly really excited when we told her too!!

Anyone else’s pets harassing you more because you are pregnant? My cat who is usually indifferent (you know, like a cat) will not leave me the eff alone. She has to always be near me when I’m home and has even started scratching at our bedroom door at night until we let her in to sleep there. She is never this clingy.

@allthingsgo yeah our dog is a lunatic around me. He lays with his chin on my belly 24/7 and is even more protective of me than normal. When I was pregnant with DS my office had a retired therapy dog, and she totally knew I was pregnant before I did.
