Thankful for my ILs for buying us a sick bedroom set for SD and DD yesterday and for for DH taking me to Anthropologie afterward to shop the sale as an early birthday present. Then DH crushing it again tonight for taking the kids swimming so I can relax at home since I’m so exhausted from our busy day yesterday and not sleeping well. Currently soaking my feet, eating cookies, watching Homeland.
Thankful to DH for spoiling me today before he had to go to work, we had to go meet up with someone from work that he is selling his truck to and just the 35 minutes in the heat killed me, we got home and he kept refilling my water, made us lunch, and even watched what I wanted to on TV and he hates HGTV!! So I'm making him a good dinner for when he gets home tonight as a thank you instead of the usual cereal he eats(:
Thankful for DH taking care of all the chores when I'm tired and cranky which is most days. We went food shopping together which somehow sucked the life out of me so when we got home he put away all of the groceries, prepped dinner, loaded and ran the dishwasher, and took the trash out. All while I got undressed and mostly sat on my ass waiting for food and trying not to fall asleep lol some days I feel like I really don't deserve him.
Thankful for DH making me laugh. We got a drying rack for bottle supplies and a bottle cleaning brush off the registry from some friends and it comes with a smaller brush for cleaning nipples. My husband looked at it, looked at my chest, and genuinely asked, “this is to clean your nipples? Wouldn’t that hurt?” I started cracking up and explained it was for bottle nipples. We both got a good laugh out of that one.

TMI- finally had my first experience of pregnancy constipation. My thankfulness came a day late. After several days of feeling everything I ate backing up in me my coffee this morning enabled me to lose a baby’s worth of weight in a few relieving moments. Feeling less whale-like now! Back to feeling like I’m carrying a normal sized baby.
Sorry to be late to the party, but my little was doing barrel rolls in there or something all yesterday and it really did make me happy. The little kicks and nudges are so fun even if they get pretty aggressive as they run out of space and get stronger.

I’m thankful for so many beautiful moments in every day, some days the aches and pains and heat can make me feel like a beached whale and pretty uncomfy but I just have to try and remember all the sweet moments! I was in a bad mood the other day and I went to my room to fold laundry (by myself) and I made it clear I needed alone time once my husband got home- a few minutes later and my three boys slid some notes under the door (they are 6,4,and 2) and it was a picture of me and them and it said “I love you mommy, feel bedder soon” it was the sweetest thing ever! Being a mom cAn be exhausting and really tough but my oh my it can have some really amazing sweet special moments!
