Maternity shoots!

Is anyone planning on having maternity shoots done? I’d love to hear what your doing and have a place to post photos is you wanna share! 
Im getting mine done on July 10th, which I’m worried is kinda early (I’ll be 30 weeks) but the girl that did my shoot last time moved away and just happened to be coming back next week, so I figured I’d just do then when she’s here  
She wants to do a boudoir type shoot this time   These are from when I had my son a couple years ago.

So I had my shoot done today and it was a disaster. The photographer wanted to have some pictures done with my son (20 months) and my husband. We got about 5 pictures in and it was full on meltdown mode. Hopefully she and work some kind of magic.

I adore my maternity photos. We've worked with this photographer before so I had a good feeling I would. I already have my favorites on the wall. Can't wait for her to take our newborn ones! 

Photog is also pregnant. Both pregnant brains didn't realize I had my hair tie on my wrist till after a few shots. Still love this one though!

Did y'all have a hard time figuring out what to wear for your shoot? I had picked out a knee length lace dress to wear for mine (a week from today!), but when I wore that dress to my shower, I found I hated how I looked in most of the pictures from that day.... my husband pointed out that I feel the best and also get the most compliments when I'm wearing jeans. So I am trying to find a cute blouse to wear with jeans and cowboy boots. This is the sort of vibe we are going for in our photos:

I feel like I've searched high and low for a blouse or another dress. I'm just coming up empty. I am hoping to get a top that's more fitted to my bump and hopefully white. *sigh* I'm more frustrated by this process than I thought I'd be...

Have you looked at PinkBlush Maternity online? They have lots of dresses and told that would work for photos. I ended up doing a long white off-the-shoulder maxi dress in my pics and they came out amazing.

@MandyMost Yes, I have tried PinkBlush. I've purchased and returned two dresses from them already. But maybe I will have better luck with their tops?

@redraider2012 I love the jeans and cowboy boots for maternity shoots! Are you in any local Mom Facebook groups? I would post that picture and see if anyone has anything you could borrow for the shoot

Thanks, @mauishay. I hadn't thought of that. I am not aware of any local mom groups. It never dawned on me to try to find one either. I'll look into that. We moved to a new state not quite a year ago, and we will be the first of our friends here to have babies. Although we are only leading by two months. We've got several friends following behind us in November and December!
