@mamabearcj ever since 2nd trimester started I have been. 2 espresso shots a day, so within the “recommended” amount, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t think twice about it. Coffee = survival, though.
I’ve been drinking coffee every morning since I got my bfp. One cup every morning. Once in a blue moon I’ll have two if it’s a really rough day. I’m keeping it under 300mgs though.
I drink coffee every day, since 2nd trimester when it tasted good again. But I drink decaf, because caffeine addiction is a real bitch and a half. Dealt with the fallout of that since college, so caffeine free is the way to be! (Yes I know there's caffeine in decaf )
I love that this was the topic of the day...because I came on here to confess that I just left a urine sample at my OB and it reeked of coffee. Oops. I *may* be dehydrated also I had 2 cups of coffee + and iced coffee this morning...(all decaf).
I drink 1 cup of coffee every morning....can't survive without it!
My Confession - This week alone I have eaten Firehouse Subs, Wendy's, & Popeyes for lunches. Oh and I didn't pack a lunch today either so it's about to get worse
I have never had Popeyes. In my defense, we do not have them anywhere near where I live (if at all in Wisconsin??) and also, not a huge fan of fried chicken anyway. ETA: i did grab a soft taco supreme and a mountain dew from taco bell at lunch yesterday and it was delicious (and then made me feel terrible, but i will still do it again).
I’m not great about eating healthy to begin with, but I’m really bad during pregnancy. I have such a fickle appetite (and stomach) that I just eat whatever I can keep down. So fast food has been on the menu. I drink La Croix instead of soda at least.
@rc-cola I was in the process of going vegetarian when I got my BFP. 1st tri food aversions got me completely off track and unmotivated and I've been feeling terrible about it. So thanks for your post, it makes me feel a little better!
I couldn't drink coffee until about 17 weeks, but man do I feel so much better when I do.
My confession is that as much as I love the bump, I hate trying to dress it and have daily meltdowns about looking like an egg. I need to get my vain-ness in check but it’s hard
@chopchop25 dont worry. I have had 5 full glasses of wine since my second trimester started (no more than a glass in a week, but each time I have a drink, its a full glass of wine). Having a full glass tonight at a fancy dinner.
Speaking of sex, I’m insanely randy lately. H and I had sex 12 hours ago and I was climbing the walls this morning wanting more. The dizzy spelled cured me of it, but it didn’t stop the daydreaming.
ugh. I miss coffee SOOOOOO much. But my OB said I could only have UNDER 100 MG per day.
Luckily, I can still have matcha, which falls under the 100mg. But man, I dream of real iced coffee again. (Do decaf when I can, but nothing beats REAL coffee).
Ugh, I wish I had some sex drive. I have had lots of sex dreams and in my mind it sounds great, but in real life I'm just not feeling very into it. I make sure to still do it at least once a week, but I'm just not as into it as before. Sorry, hubs.
My confession has to do with the sex. My vibrator's battery died last night before I got to where I was headed! Little fucker. Had to go all manual mode and shit, like I was living in the dark ages. I talked to my husband a little bit ago while he's waiting for his flight home and told him I missed him...and his penis. He assured me it misses me too, so that's good.
@kiwi2628 We're at the same wine consumption level, exactly! I additionally have some beer sips sporadically placed throughout my pregnancy, because that's typically what Jeff drinks
My FFFC: Other than a ton of reading, online research, and talking to friends, I have legitimately not done a single thing to get the baby’s nursery started. I have not ordered a crib or any furniture yet. I haven’t even added anything to my registry yet (although I created the registry so my sister could have the link). I’ve been more focused on my MOH duties for weddings, babymoon planning, and house renovations than preparing for this baby to arrive and I really need to get started!
At least the nursery was perfectly painted last year while we/our contractors renovated?
+1 for the sex drive (and clearly my standards have been lowering lol). DH got into an argument last night/this morning about him staying out until 2am to play video games with his friend and I couldn't even stay mad at him for that long because I needed to get some before he left for work this morning

We haven't had sex in weeks. And it's not for lack of trying on my part. Ugh.

@mytrueloves same. My problem is that both of my children seem to have some kind of spidey sense and can tell when we’re about to do it, because no matter what time it is (day or night) they come running in to our room right as it’s about to happen. Little cockblockers...
My H has a warped sense of time when it comes to sex. I originally started charting years ago for the sole purpose of proving to him that we don't go *weeks* without sex. It will be a couple days and he swears it's 3 weeks.
My FFFC: my sex drive has been ramped up so much lately that it takes me no time to O. So sometimes I prefer to just use my vibrator instead because I don't feel like putting that much extra effort into sex when I could get what I need in 5 minutes. Sorry H.
@tlmill while this will be our first child, our dogs seem to have this spidey sense as well... although the difference is I can just shove them out the door (usually I hear them lay down against it and run in the second I open it)...
My sex drive is way higher than DH’s, so there’s a fair amount of taking care of things on my own. Plus anytime we try doggy-style (which is one of the few positions where my giant belly is out of the way) it just feels like everything is sitting in weird uncomfortable positions, or like my cervix is in the way. It’s definitely a bit of a mood kill.
@lolo_0924 Haha, it's so great when the dog just stands at the side of the bed watching. I'm always like "DON'T JUDGE ME, KEVIN!" (Dog's name is Kevin)
So I just pretty much had a bowl of gravy for lunch.
I also have made no steps towards making a nursery but we don't have an extra room anyways. I'll wait until the 8 month mark and ask my friends what baby stuff they still have lying around the house and throw a used crib in my bedroom. No big deal..just need some diapers and I'm done!

Texted DH for when he gets out of work, reeaaalllyyyy hoping he picks up subway or McDonalds on his way home... preferably a BLT.. will definitely keep you posted if I get it or not!
All I know is that the Five Guys closest to me is a bitch to get into because it is in a popular mall. However, they are putting in a new one about half a mile away. I noticed it about three months ago.
I am now firmly convinced that Blast will be here before the Five Guys is open.

(But back in my house tomorrow! I’m making spaghetti for a girl friend on Monday, assuming everything goes to plan...)
FFFC - Planning on a half glass of champagne or wine this weekend. I'm nervous but also SO excited.
