I am thankful that after my 70 pound dog fell/rolled (?) off our bed this morning that she was able to get up and walk. She had a neck injury as a puppy and I am always worried something worse will happen and paralyze her so yay she is up and walking around. Seems a little sore but she is walking!
Thankful for my husband today on our 4 year wedding anniversary. I mentioned before that we had some infidelity issues in our marriage that we're working hard to put behind us. Well I'm a big talker and sometimes I just need to talk stuff out. He is NOT. But even today, on our wedding anniversary for god sakes, he was SO patient with me when something came up and I asked if we could talk about the infidelity. And we had an amazing talk that helped us both understand each other a little better. We have never been more solid or in love and I'm so thankful for him and for the fact that we never gave up on each other after everything that happened.
Thankful for babymoon and birthday weekend on the coast this weekend! Also thankful for the lightening and thunderstorm this morning...it's been ages since I've seen a good 'east coast style' summer storm.
Thankful for good ultrasound and echocardiogram results on Baby A today. And for my mom who watched the 4 year olds during my appointments, and washed my dishes and the kids’ laundry!
I’m thankful for my mystery neighbor who pulls up my trash can and recycling can into the driveway. I have no idea who it is, but for the last few weeks, by the time I get home from work (granted last week I was traveling and this person did it then too), the trash and recycling are back in the driveway. I think it’s my neighbor (maybe he takes pity on me since DH has been traveling so much?), but I am thankful for whoever it is and their small act of kindness.
@ladyofarlington omg i want your neighbor. every time I come home on trash day, our trash can is in the middle of the street, in the ditch (ewww), or across the street. We gave up on a lid because it kept getting blown away!
@nasalot188 DH may paint the nursery this weekend! I'm gonna have a ginger beer and watch

@chopchop25 that storm this morning was intense! DS really did not like the thunder though, and just kept saying “no like thunder” over and over

Thankful for a beautiful day at the beach for the first day of summer and that my spf50 did the trick!! I'm surprised I didnt get burnt. Cant say the same for the ladies I went with but they didnt reapply... it was just a beautiful day and I feel great!!

Thankful to all the ladies on this group who share their experiences. Specifically today:
1) The recent discussion of calf cramps. Holy hell that hurt! But I wasn’t caught off guard.
2) Last week’s discussion of silicone rings. I stopped wearing my rings shortly after my BFP, and the ghosts on my fingers were getting really stressful. I bought some of the stacking rings from Enso, and feel so much better.
Thankful that my daughter didn’t break her foot at school. Got the dreaded “your kid fell and can’t walk on one foot” call Wednesday afternoon and luckily the x ray showed no breaks and she was able to go back to daycare today with only one day staying home to rest. Could have been so much worse.
Also thankful I have girls night out for dinner tonight and Dh has been so good about taking on a lot of stuff with dd this week (like staying home yesterday).
Thankful for this past week. I’ve been in Oregon with 4 of my closest friends just being together. Spending a whole week together without our partners, without having to work, without kids (none of us have kids yet but two of us are pregnant) has been really special and probably won’t happen again for a long time. Just grateful for this time.
Thankful Saturday! We went to Babies R Us last night one last time before they close in a few days. We scored a sweet ass jogging stroller travel system for $99!!! We didn’t need a new infant seat but this one is a thousand times better than the one we had.
