One of my friends mentioned crunchy peanut butter this weekend and now it's all I can think about. We have smooth at home but it's not the same...must buy crunchy PB at the store this weekend!

I'm just staring at my fridge and trying to decide what to eat before the GD test fasting period begins because "oh shit, *Knitknit, you will be a hangry mess if you go too long without food" as my husband put it. Which is true...I might actually go on a warpath. I'm not a nice person when I'm hungry.
So carbonara? Fried potatoes and an over easy egg? Apple and cheese? Fry some bacon to go with any of this?
@knitknitread I know this is not the point, but I love that you referred to yourself as “Knitknit” when telling us that story! Good luck with the fasting - sounds horrible.
DD and I biked to the grocery store to get ingredients for pimento cheese... We may have eaten fried chicken and potato salad from the deli before actually shopping, and then I bought chocolate donut holes because I knew I would be hungry after the ride back... I was correct
I have had such a massive craving for dairy my whole pregnancy. I've had to stop myself from eating cream cheese out the tub with a spoon on more than one occasion.
On the other had I've had a massive aversion to anything sweet other than fruit and dark chocolate. Anything with sugar or sweeteners tastes so immensely sweet it's just disgusting.
@EErin86 Share your thoughts about the pimento cheese once you make it!
Yes!!! And share the recipe! Would love to have some good pimento cheese.
@southernlady07 I did buy the ingredients but ran out of time to make it and we are driving to visit my parents this weekend. I'll find the recipe someone posted
This is courtesy of @spottedginger The grated onion is my secret ingredient. Pre-grated cheese has a weird coating and won’t work as well as if you grate from the block. Be sure to use a sweet yellow onion and add in the juice from grating it as well. I use much less mayo than this says, as I prefer a more solid consistency than a shmear. We love pimento cheese on crackers, as grilled cheese, or bacon pimento burgers. https://www.southernliving.com/food/kitchen-assistant/pimiento-cheese-recipes
Yes! First trimester was lemonade all the time!! Costco has these coconut waffers with dark chocolate layered in between... I just ate the entire bag in two days

I'm enjoying both and trying to trick myself with frozen grapes, but they're definitely not as good.

And I was still a jittery, raging, mess before I got to the doctor's office.
We stopped at a crepe place afterwards because it was literally right there and I couldn't even think coherently about what to eat.
